If you already have a child, how long did it take you to conceive each time?

If you are currently TTC, how long have you been trying for this blessing?

With my son, it took 7 cycles to get pregnant. AF started on Sunday night for me so we are about to start our 7th cycle TTC this one. Even though it took 7 cycles to conceive my first, it is hard to not feel like it is never going to happen. I keep telling myself that a year is normal so I don't need to worry yet but it gets more difficult as more time goes on.

It took me 6 cycles with DD w/my ex husband. This will be my second cycle with my SO. Its early so I'm not stressed in that regard, however its the unknown with him and I sometimes worry that it will be harder this time. I'm almost 31 now and SO had a testicular injury/surgery when he was young. Doctors said it should be fine but they never went back in to check that everything was open and fine line they were recommended. So, of course I'm paranoid.

I've been VERY blessed in the past. #1 took 6 cycles, #2 took 2 cycles, and #3 was unplanned (one time without a condom and I had no idea where I was in my cycle - I couldn't even remember my LMP). This time we are on our 12th cycle. It sucks but I'm not complaining because we are so blessed to have 3 already.

first was 5 months on ineffective birth control Not planned, but very loved!

2nd was a year of trying and several losses.

This time it was 1 cycle of trying, got pregnant. Lost the baby 3 months later and now I"m in my 4th cycle of trying after that. So techically it's now 7 months of "ttc" if you count the time I was pregnant? 5th cycle total trying for this baby if you count the one I got pregnant on? Confusing

DS1 - We went unprotected a few times. Realized that we were actually trying and pretty much turned up pg right away.
DD1 - 2 cycles
This time - This is cycle #2 of trying after TR.

With dd it was about 2 years of ntnp. My second was an oops and now my dw and I are on to our 6th cycle but it has been spread out over the past year and a half so it feels longer.

DS #1 was an oops. DS #2 was NTNP, but I don't remember for how long. It wasn't too long though. And with this one, I am on cycle #15 but it has been 1 yr and 8 months because I have long cycles.

No children, yet, but in total we've been TTC for 12 months. I got pregnant after 7 months of trying, ended in MC at 6 weeks so we took a 6 month break. I was on the pill for that break, and I wish I never had. I've been off the pill now for 5 months and last cycle was my first normal cycle. Hopefully we dont have to try too much longer...it feels like forever because we had that MC and took the break. So its all been spread out over 18 months.

With DS it took three cycles.
Next pregnancy was a one time 'oops should have used protection,' but ended in a miscarriage. We got pregnant my first cycle after and had DD.
My last pregnancy was the first month not using protection, but that was another miscarriage.
I haven't had my first post-loss AF yet, so that's what I'm waiting for right now.

I'm sorry to see so many of us don't get pregnant right away but at the same time, it is comforting to know that I am not alone. AF started last night so I am on to cycle 8. It seems like everyone around me gets pregnant so easily so I just don't understand why it is so hard for me.

With my DD, we weren't really TTC. I was charting to avoid, and we had a "mishap" 5 days before O and I got pregnant. I had been effectively charting to avod for 8 months before that.

This is cycle #1 for us actively TTC... not sure where it will go!

Tried for 2 months when we conceived but I then had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. Now I'm just waiting for AF to get back to TTC... it has technically been about 4 months since we decided to start TTCing but only 2 months of actively trying.

With DD I got PG in my first cycle.
With my ectopic it took two cycles.
We're on cycle 7 now.
