I took 150mg of clomid days 3-7. I'm now on CD 10, I've had no side effects what so ever ::knock on wood:: but I am worried that it isn't going to work. I didn't ovulate on 50 or 100mg either thoughts?

Did you have side effects on the 50 & 100 mg?

No a headache with 50mg when I first started it, but that's it.

What if you don't ovulate on CD 14 though? Seems like your CD 21 draw could be pretty off if you aren't being monitored on when you actually ovulate.

My thoughts exactly. Not sure how that works, I haven't ovulated at all yet.

Well generally you wont get accurate results. You need a 7dpo test, not CD 21 but usually with that level of clomid you wouldn't take it unmonitored

Really? Great, they're not monitoring me at all with the exception of the progesterone test! I'm not seeing am RE though either, my OB is prescribing.

You need ultrasound monitoring; otherwise there is no way to know how your body is responding to the Clomid and what needs to be adjusted to make things work better. I'm honestly surprised that a doc would just keep upping your meds on the basis of a CD21 progesterone test (which is invalid unless you ovulated on CD14).

Nope, no monitoring I suspect she will after 150 doesn't work, because at that point we'll either try something different or I'll be referred to an RE
