Reading the book, "A Child Is Born" the author says this...
"Slight bleeding often accompanies ovulation, and if the blood is shed against the membrane surrounding the abdominal cavity there may be discomfort-mittelschmerz, as it is called. This makes it easier for some women to calculate the most propitious time for conception."
So, I guess that means that when you feel the cramps, you have ovulated.
I honestly think that every woman is different. I tend to get a little crampy before and after I O. Even before I went on clomid I had this. I O'd yesterday and I am cramping on my right side where my ultrasound picked up that I O'd. I hope that helps!
Thanx guys! The sad part is that I was having the pain yesterday in my left ovary and then....by the time we got to go to bed last night....I just didn't have it in me to do any BDing. DH and I BD on Tuesday though...so...if I did release my eggie yesterday then maybe there were some little swimmers waiting for it!!!!! DD is sick so...I have to take her to DR today. Sometimes I wonder if there is even enough energy left in me to be a mommy for 2. I like to think there is!
