Also, in your opinion, what is the best pregnancy test in all? tia!

I have bought First Reponse, but I generally use $1.00 tests from Dollar Tree and Dollar General stores. I guess they are good because they have shown a BFN each time and, of course, it has been true.

I got a very faint positive with a first response early test at 12 dpo. So, I would say you would probably get a positive about 2 days prior to AF. I will NOT test any sooner than that, because a false negative is hard to take!

You can use the First Response test 4 days before your period is due.

They say it is pretty accurate. I bought a package with two in it and it was $14.97 Canadian at Wal-Mart, which is about $11.23 in American dollars.

I think the pamphlet inside the First Response says that it is 69% accurate taken four days prior to your AF. The percentage increases the closer you are to AF when you take it.

thanks ladies! i took FP when i found out i was pregnant with my son and a few months ago i THOUGHT i was pregnant(i was on bc) and i had bought a 2 pack so i still have one left in that. Right ON the box it says..
In clinical testing,FIRST RESPONSE detected the hormone levels in 69% of women 4 days before their expected period,in 83% of women 3 days before their expected period,93% of women 2 days before and 93% of women 1 day before.
I guess i should of read the box before bothering you ladies

Wouldn't it be great if you could find out 8 days before?! The two week wait is certainly a killer. Good luck and baby dust!
