k so i think im O today!!! but i wanted to know about the temping stuff....when do you start temping and for how long.....if i dont get my BFP this time i think i may start temping....i am only doing the CM stuff and want to get a little more into other stuff in the ttc world to help our chances of that BFP!!! so any help would be great. tia

Hey, I'm new to charting my self this is my first cycle. Alot of the ladies here recommended this site to me.

I think it wouldn't help to start temping today, but I am NO expert. However I have heard it's a good rule of thumb to just keep BDing as much as you can while you have fertile CM. And ditto on the Fertility Friend site it's awesome!

I would start temping now. That way you get the hang of it before your next cycle. And if you do not get a bfp you have something to compare it to. Then you will now where your post O temps are. If you start now it can also help you to know if you are pregnant. You could watch for a temp drop before af starts. Just what I think.

thanks ladies....another question....can i just use any ol' diggy thermometer? and does it matter when i temp? when is the best time? anything else you can add?

I use a Basal thermometer which i got at walmart. I take my temp in the morning before i move or talk or get outta bed. My instruction says that you are at least supposed to have 3 hours of sleep before taking your temp. I also use Fertility friend too a lot of helpful info.
