Hi ladies, if youre having o pain should you have already of bd'ed and try yo catch the egg or would it be better to have o pain and then bd? Make sense? I guess what I'm asking is, is it better to have the spermies inside you as you feel o pain (or before)or bd when you start feeling it? Who knew getting pg would be this complicated?!!

LOL im with ya, i get what u are saying! well, in my opinion, if you are using opk's, are aware of your cycles and the average length, and the day you usually O, theres really no need for guesswork. On the other hand, the O cramping can go on for days before the actual event, so i use my first O cramps as an indicator to start BDing like crazy!!
I start cramping 2-3 days before O, so for me this method works well to make sure there are fresh spermies up there waiting for the egg, but if your cramping usually happens only when you are Oing on the day, i would rely on opk's and CM to give you a better idea of when to start BDing KWIM?
i hope this helps, im a bit tired so i may not be making a whole lot of sense LOL. good luck!!

Ummm....both? I knew exactly when I was o'ing this month. I had had o pains for 4 days already and they turned from dull pains to horrendous debilitating pain that lasted for about 2 hours. Sure enough, my temp spiked the next day. But since we had already bd'd that morning, I didn't bd again. 5 days from now, I'll find out if that was the right decision or not. If dh had been up for it and I hadn't been in so much pain, I would have dtd again. I'm kind of kicking myself now....

I get O pains a couple days before O, it helps to know when I should start BD'ing. It is best to have the spermies there waiting for the egg, so I have heard. Good luck!

I get O pains a few days before I O so I'd bd as soon as you start getting them for sure.

Hi Proverbs 31 (thanks for checking!) and all- I guess my o dullness, I should say only lasted for a day (a little less than a full 24 hours) so I think maybe I should bd tonight too (it's 11:00pm over here) again. Boy I can't believe how bad ~Jess~ gets O pain. ouch! I cant help but think we are not "hitting it" at the right time and maybe this cycle will be the one. (Hope so). Plus my ewcm has been steady for the last 3 or 4 days. Funny 'cause I always turned down my dh for sex and now I'm like,"we going again tonight okay" . He laughs but I can tell 4 nights in a row is his limit. hee hee.
