Hi everyone!

I'm curious what cycle day you usually ovulate. I know the "rule" (hahahaha....really, rules in ttc.....) says cd14, but mine seems to vary. Last month is was a very distinct cd 12, and this month, I really couldn't tell, but would guess cycle day 16. Sooo confusing! Misty, do you really ovulate on cd 21? Wow!

Last cycle I O'd on cd19, and the cycle before it was cd24.

Wow! So because I have a 28-29 day cycle, I could still technically ovulate this late? It's day 18...

The cycle day can (and typically does) vary, and is subject to things such as stress.

However, the time between ovulation and AF (the luteal phase) rarely ever varies except in cases where your body is still leveling off from coming off of bc pills or when there is a luteal phase defect.

You can *sometimes* judge your future cycles by past cycles, but as far as what day you will O on, its nearly impossible to be totally sure every single month.

I have ovulated as early as CD12, which at that time gave me a cycle of only 24 days. But generally I ovulate between CD15 and CD16 and have a 28-29 day cycle.
