Okay, so I have been using OPK for 6 months now.
My normal cycle has been negatives until ovulation (1-2 days of positives) and then negatives again.

This month I had the following results:

Day 1 Negative
Day 2 Positive
Day 3 Positive
Day 4 Negative
Day 5 Negative
Days 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 Positives (and strong positives, test line darker than control line)

Could I be pregnant?

The wait is killing me.

Thanks.

I don't know if this matters, but I am using Answer test strips, testing twice a day, FMU and at night.

Thanks.

I am going to test in the morning. I tested tonight (dumb, but I'm impatient) and it was a BFN but it looked like line sort of, but it wasn't.

Do you know which HPT would be the best?
I asked the pharmacist, who had no clue.
I am 10 DPO tomorrow.

I've read on here that alot of ladies have problems with the Answers brand opk's. I don't know I've never used them, but that may be why your getting so many positives.

But, good luck when you test with the hpt! I hope all of the positives opk's are a good sign! KUP!

Yeah, I have been hearing not great things about the Answer brand, especially the midstream tests, but the strips also.
The last five months, however, they have worked for me (at least they have only given one or two positives a cycle).

I'm just getting so frustrated, I didn't think, at my age (20), it would take me this long.

My best friend just had her baby, and got pregnant on accident.

And it kills me to watch her with her baby, even though I'm really happy for her.

I have heard that the answer tests are not all that great.

I had good luck with the target brand OPKs, and the the OPK strips you can get on ebay.

As for testing. If you re 10dpo tomorrow.. I think you said, thats still pretty soon to get a BFP, it can happen, but its not all that likely. I would wait till 14 or even 15 DPO if you can.

I always have trusted the Early First Response tests. THey say that they pick up at 12.5hcg which is the lowest on the market.

Good luck!

I used to use the answer brand tests because they were the cheapest at Walmart. Well, I told my dr. about me getting several positives after the initial ones, and he suggested that I try a different brand. So, this last month, I used answer and the CBE digital ones. I used a digital when the answer one looked close to a +. When I tested later in my cycle I got a very clear + answer opk, so I decided to test with another digital and it was -. This month I am only using the digital ones. I got a really good deal on them on ebay compared to the price at walgreens. Good luck!!

I havnt heard good things about the answer brand so IF your not pg *knock on wood you are* I would switch to a different brand.
you can get good deals on ebay or Early-Pregnancy-Test.com. As far as hpt's go ive only heard good things about First Response Early Response and equate brand and Target brand as well. Peeonastick.com has a bunch of tests on them and I believe those were the good ones. 10 DPO is still really early so you could very well be pregnant. Good luck when you test!!

I'm trying to put it off, so that 1) I waste less money and 2) have a better New Year's than if I got a BFN.

I think I Oed on the 21st, so I would be 10DPO today, so I'm trying to wait until I'm closer to when my period is due.
I'm going out of town today and not getting back until January 6th, so hopefully I can distract myself.

I just don't understand these tests, they worked the last few months.

I read on article on this site about using OPK as HPT, and it said that they detect part of the same hormone, LH and HCG. And I found someone on another sight who has 6 days positive in a row and is 5 weeks pregnant.
I hope I'm that lucky.

Good luck everyone else.
Thanks for all the ideas.
