DH and I are TTC#4. This baby would be our first together. I had a m/c in October and we're really hoping for good news this time. My LMP was April 22nd. My cycles are usually about 5 weeks. I went to the doctor today and they said there was a faint line so they drew blood. I have to wait until Monday to get the results of the blood test I want to get excited but I'm afraid to set myself up for disappointment. Waiting is so tough!

Thank you. I'm one day closer today and Father's Day tomorrow will be somewhat of a distraction.

I've been thinking about getting a FRER to test in the morning cause it would be a nice way to start out Father's Day with a BFP to show DH.

It's been a busy day and I haven't bought a home test yet. I get the results from the doctor tomorrow anyway though. Just before I took a shower this afternoon I noticed just a tiny bit of spotting. I have felt a little crampy too. After my previous m/c I'm getting really nervous. Anyone else feeling like this?

Sorry to keep you guys waiting. I was waiting to get my results yesterday which came back at 39000 but my bleeding continued and they drew my blood again yesterday and it went down to 7000. I just found out this morning. I had a bad feeling as soon as I had the cramping and bleeding. Good luck to everyone else. My husband and I are going to keep trying but right now I'm just focused on taking care of myself. How long should I wait to try again? Any advice?

I'm so sorry hun. Some doctors will tell you to wait a few months but usually that's just to make sure you're emotionally ready to try again. Some people feel that you are most fertile just following a miscarriage. It's a personal decision though that you and your DH will have to make when you're ready to. I hope you feel better.

I've heard that a lot that you are more fertile following a m/c but I don't know if I am honestly emotionally ready cause this is really hard and trying again means risking going through another m/c. This is the 2nd time and it's the most isolating experience I've ever had. I don't know how I want my loved ones to handle the situation but I just feel like I'm going it alone. Can anyone relate? Thanks to all of you on here who have commented. Best of luck to all who may be pregnant this month.

From personal experience I would advise waiting 3 months until trying again. I wish I would of listened to that advice before. I lost 4 babies last year and each of them was conceived within 6 weeks of losing the previous baby. I finally decided to listen to my doc and waited the 3 months. We got pregnant 4 months after our last loss and we are now 20 weeks pregnant. Good luck to you and Im sorry for your loss.
