Hey Everyone, thanks for taking the time to read this. I wasn't going to post at all but I need somebody's opinion. My DH and I had sex on the last day of my period (I know most women ovulate 14 days or so after) but I'm really beginning to think I might have ovulated early. I havent been keeping track of when I ovulate or anything, and the last couple of months my period has been on time, but you never know. The reason I'm posting is because this month my body has been insanely out of whack! I usually feel the exact same way each month before AF... 4-5 days before I might get a bit crampy, and well, thats it! But here has been my out of whack symptoms this month. And these arent something I've been keeping track of on a daily basis, they are just hard not to notice! (sorry this will be a long post but please bear with me!)

We had sex on September 29th (last day of my period), around the 4th or something I realized I was having period like cramps (weird to have experienced them again soo soon only a little under a week after finishing AF). I expected them to go away after a day, but it continued on into the entire week. The cramps would come and go throughout the day and werent very painful, but dull and I could feel it. Into the end of that week I became the crankiest person ever. I love my DH so much but everything he said or did easily agitated me, and then I'd get angry with him. I never get easily upset with him, this was sooo out of the ordinary. After snapping, I'd notice right away, and then would want to cry cuz I felt so bad. I've apologized countless times. Poor Guy.

In the middle of the month I started breaking out in horrible acne, its subsiding now as im taking extreme measures to keep a super clean face to prevent it. On October 11th, I ended up getting a real bad pinching pain above my pubic bone to the left side. It burned slightly and felt like a ton of pressure on my uterus. DH had to rub the area with a warm hand to help it subside. After 2 days it was gone but then period like cramping still continued (now having AF like cramping, but duller, since a whole week after ending AF) The AF cramping has continued everday up until today, again though, only on and off throughout the day, with random pinching feelings. I'm still extremely crabby, have been since the 9/10th or so of this month.

Around the 14th, I noticed my right nipple really began to hurt. Pretty darn sensitive, but not through the roof in pain yet. My left one doesnt hurt as much, but my breast hurts underneath. I dont get breast pain before AF.

AF is due this Saturday on the 24th. For Almost a week now, I've also had a horrribbbllee time sleeping. I am one to sleep through the night, but I've been waking up every couple of hours for no reason at all. It leaves me exhausted throughout the day. I've also been having dream after dream after dream, for 4 days it was about running, being chased. now they are random and weird.

Please someone let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks for reading.

sounds like the pinching pain may have been ovulation, I'm no expert though. I would maybe try and test in a couple days with a FRER and see what happens.

I agree that pinching pain sounds like ovulation pain to me. That is exactly what my o pains feel like. And the timing for it sounds right to me. I usually start getting o pains a few days before I ovulate so you may have ovulated a few days after you had that pain.

I think it is still a little early so I would try to hold out a few more days but you definitely sound like you could be pregnant.

Hey hun, I'm confused then though. Cuz.. If they were ovulation pains then wouldnt that mean I ovulated around the 11th then? I had sex on the 29th... so I couldn't be pregnant. Although... If I ovulated on the 11th then we did fool around on that day and this is gonna be way TMI (sorry!) but i was sitting on him after he ejaculated (both naked) and his sperm was all over the outside of my vaginal area but he didnt ejaculate up me. Do you think I could be pregnant from the intercourse we had on the 28th and 29th?

Because you can have ovulation pain from the follicles maturing. You may not ovulate on that exact day. I often have o pains a few days before I ovulate and not just on the day I ovulate. I am not saying that you didn't ovulate on that day but I would not assume that was your o date based on just the o pains. You can have o pains before, during, and after ovulation. It can be from the follicles maturing, from the egg rupturing from the follicle, or the contractions in your fallopian tube as it moves the egg down your tube.

I usually start having ovulation pain before I ovulate so this is why I would be conservative with your o date. You could have ovulated on the 11th but I would give yourself a window of time before and after that date.

The way you feel sounds A LOT like how I felt getting PG this time. How long is your cycle usually? Because sperm can live for up to 5 days in you - so if AF was 7 days and you had sex on day 8 and then they lived 5 days that would take you to day 13 - if your cycle is 28 days or less - it wouldn't be that weird to ovulate in time for those last surviving sperms I'd take a test soon - if I were you. I hope you get the result you want!

Hi Soda Girl I'm loving replies, it really gives me a peace of mind.

So that's really how you felt? Yeh, I keep expecting the symptoms to dissapear one morning but they are here day after day after day. I'm dreading sleep tonight cuz I can guarantee I wont sleep. Well to answer your question... the past 3 months I've gotten AF on the 24th every time, (except last month it was the 25th). AF usually last for 5 days, but last month it was more like 4, and supppperr light next to nothing on day 5. So on day 4 we had sex, and the day before as well. What are your thoughts?

opps I never came back here - sorry! I suppose you know by now! But here is the math I would do anyway - for the record. So 24 day cycle - likely you ovulate day 10 then so sex on day 4 sperm alive 5 days would take you to day 9. Not likely but still possible - is my vote.

Heyy girls. So, I was due today for my period, and nothing. I tested on Thursday and got a BFN, but havent tested today yet. I always get my period on the exact day its due, and when it comes, it comes. This morning after going pee I had this verrrryyy verryyy light bleeding, but nothing that I found out through wiping... TMI but i had to feel up there and then wipe my finger on a kleenex to see if anything appeared. But it's not my real period I know that for sure, was super light, and lasted only for that couple of seconds. Went on a huge hike today thinking if it was my period then for sure the hike would bring it on, but nope. Nothing. Still no bleeding. Started getting verrryy nauseous today. Didn't throw up but felt soo queezy. Happened 3 times throughout the day for about 10-15 min or so. BB's still hurt, pain isn't going away. Never get any of this before AF and never get light bleeding for a couple seconds when AF is due and then it totally stops. Gonna test tomorrow morning with a dollar store test, if it's negative, then I'll test with First Response.

Thoughts anyone?

If cervical mucus is present, this sort of contact can result in conception. The sperm only need to come in contact with your cervical mucus, even if it is outside of your body. This is known as a "contact pregnancy."

And just to clarify an earlier comment, only 12% of women ovulate near day 14. The rest ovulate earlier or later than that. The time of ovulation can vary from cycle to cycle as well.

It's hard to say what the spotting is related to. It could just be a strange start to your period and you may spot on and off for a couple of days before she arrives. It could also be implantation or even ovulation related. I would say wait a couple of days before testing again if she doesn't show, and please keep us updated x

AF showed today. Ugh, I feel dumb! But praise God cuz we didn't want a BFP yet

((HUGS)) Don't feel dumb. My body has played tricks on me plenty of times. You have no idea how many times I have posted that I felt incredibly pregnant and then turned out not to be. It is really hard when you start feeling like you are because all the symptoms start to point to being pregnant.

I hope when you are ready that your bfp comes quickly!

Thank you. yeh this month was the weirdest thing. I neeevveerr have cramping for like 3 weeks before AF and I NEVER EVER get a sore chest. I used to get a sore chest and cramps 4 days before AF was due like 2 yrs ago before I went on birth control and then stopped it in Oct 2008 so maybe my body took a whole year to kind of get back to the way it used to be, maybe it's just readjusting. But I sure hope when we do try that our BFP comes quickly! We will likely start trying in September of next year Well thanks again for all your replies, your support was much needed!

There are lots of boards you can post in, there's also a waiting it TTC board and boards to do with all kinds of other interests. It would be great if you stayed!
