I think I am pregnant b/c I just have that feeling. Plus having sore breasts, nausea and spotting some...not to mention the two faintly positive pregnancy tests I've taken. I've taken like 6 tests but only 2 are faintly positive. I went to my OB's office and they did a urine test...negaitive. I'm so confused. Nurse told me to test again in a week b/c it may be too early to tests. With being on Mirena IUD I don't get periods anymore. So it's hard to judge by that. I'm going crazy NOT knowing for sure! I also told the nurse this morning was when I got the faintly pos test. And all the neg tests have been taken in the afternoon. Nurse said that should make no difference how it shows up on the test. It did with my son Jacob who is 1yr. CONFUSED!!!

BTW I have been on these boards before. I just couldn't remember my old login and got a new email. My name is Lauren!

Hmm i dont know? What kind of tests did you use? I would just retest in 48hrs and see if you get more BFPs. If you do, def wanna get into the dr ASAP with the mirena.

blue dye tests are known for false positives even within the time limit, so I would test with a FRER....btw I have the mirena and thought I was preggo because of symptoms I was having, nausea, cramping among other things that I never had before and I just had a strong feeling I was pregnant....nope, not at all. It could be the mirena messing with you, but definitely test with a pink dye next time!

GL to you! If you are pg on Merina and it's still there I can give you some hope that things can go just fine and you won't lose the baby. I have met 2 women who had it successfully removed in the 1st tri and had healthy girls and one who couldn't have it removed because it was too close to the baby's placenta/sac and had a healthy boy.

Sometimes I had those symptoms on mirena but they can be normal side effects. Just keep restesting and see your doctor again. But if its side effects of the mirena it should pass shortly. Good luck.

Sorry but I ALWAYS thought I was pregnant on Mirena lol. I had to get it out because it was driving me crazy!!! I never really got periods but I still got all of the symptoms, cramping, lower backache, sore BBs. So You may be pregnant but it could be your IUD playing mind games. Good luck

I think you probably had evaps on those blue dye tests, honey. They are really prone to them. I don't know much about mirena but a lot of ladies have spoken of pregnancy-like symptoms while using it.

I would try a pink dye test like za FRER to be totally sure, honey x

I think that you can still have a tubal pregnancy with an IUD. I'd definitely test again in a couple of days with a pink dye test to be sure you aren't pregnant.
