So I haven't had an AF since a m/c in May. I had 6+ days of positive OPKs so my doc had bloods drawn today, nurse said if all the labs are clear then it could be the BFing messing with my O (which is odd because we only BF now once a day if that) so she said the doc may try and induce a period with the progesterone. now, my question is if I did in fact O and we did happen to get pregnant with that O (we were DTD during the last week while I got the positive OPKs) could taking the 10mg progesterone harm the pregnancy? this all is just so confusing :/
I put all my stuff into vip fertility friend and it says I am 4dpo...
No, it should be fine! Many women take progesterone in the TWW! I was put on it in the TWW after I had my m/c as a precaution. My MW said my #s were fine, but it couldn't hurt, so I started taking it in the TWW through 12 weeks of the pregnancy. GL and I hope you get some answers soon!

I think that could be correct... but 10mg really isn't a whole lot to be taking. I know I had taken it before to try and sustain a pregnancy and wasn't pregnant that cycle.. and it took a while staying on 200mg daily but my AF did finally show, while still taking it. The doc isn't going to have you take it for a few days and then stop to bring on AF I don't think. He/she is prob gonna have you take it til she shows or you get a positive test. And as far as it being "bad" if you are pregnant to stop it.. that really would just depend on how your levels are doing on their own. Personally, I'm on it now and even if they said I didn't need the progesterone I'm on I would prob stay on it until it was certain the placenta has taken over. Hope that makes sense!
