My nipples have been hurting really bad for the past few days, and that is always the first sign of pg for me. I don't really keep track of my periods anymore, b/c it has been 9 years since the last time I got pregnant. I kind of guestimated, and figured my period was either late or due soon. Specific, huh? LOL! I had a Dollar Tree test on hand, so I took it around noon. Nothing showed up right away, so I put it in the cupboard. I looked at it again and there is the SLIGHTEST line if you look at it just right. I took some pictures of it, and inverted it on PS, and there IS a line there.

Would an evaporation line show up on an invert? Just curious. I have PS on another computer that doesn't have internet, and haven't had a chance to move it over to this computer. Once DS goes to bed I will, and I will share it.

Thanks!

short answer-sort of. the catch is that you read it after the time limit. take another test and read/pic it within the 10 min mark to give you an accurate result!

yes, an indent line or evap line could show on an invert just as easily as a legitimate line. you should definitely re-test.. those $ tests are very prone to evaps and indent lines.

Sadly, yes they do. The dollar tree tests are prone to evaps because they don't have the clear window over the test section to prevent evap lines. I've had really convincing evap lines. I say retest again. GL! KUP!

I was also wondering about evap lines....especially with the dollar tree tests. How common are they? I have been pregnant 5 times over the last 15 years and I can honestly say I have NEVER seen an evap line, even on a dollar store test. I've taken four tests recently, and they have ALL had clearly visible evaporation lines. But the lines aren't just indented or colorless....they have color. Is that something you guys have seen with the $ tree tests? I am kind of freaking out about it.

Usually if it has color to it, it sounds promising. I think evaps typically are pale and sometimes greyish looking. Can you get a first response or answer test? They are pretty reliable...
