Hi girls, I'm new here. I am in the middle of planning a wedding in April and got a most unexpected surprise last night. I felt a gush, and immediately thought hmmm, that feels like my period, but it can't be, I'm not due for that for another 10 days. I forgot about it (bride brain? Lol) and went about my business. Went to the bathroom and was shocked to see blood. It seemed watery, (sorry tmi) not like my usual pre-AF flow.

Thinking AF has arrived super early, I checked my calendar, and sure enough now i will be on my period on our wedding day, bummer x10. By morning the red blood was gone, and it was brown and more mucousy. None of the usual cramps. Tonight its all gone. I've been ***-ing since last night, but it wasn't until this afternoon that I thought about implantation bleeding.

I figured wedding stress brought AF early. I'm a worrier by nature, and this is the first time I've ever spotted at this point in my cycle. I started Jan 1st, and had o pain on the 12th and BD on the 11th. I can usually count on AF two weeks from o pain.

And now my boobs hurt, plus I've had a mild headache on and off. Nausea hit me today, but thats a usual pms symptom for me.

I have a 13 year old ds, been through pregnancy before but I was much younger. Can you have implantation bleeding with a second pregnancy but not the first? Should i chalk it up to stress or a wonky cycle?

Sorry for the long post, any insight is appreciated

I've heard every pregnancy can be different from the other! The time frame seems to be in the area for IB but just keep a look out. My aunt had lots of red blood as implantation bleeding for one of her pregnancies, she thought it was her period coming early too!
Funny how our bodies work
Just watch, if no more blood in the next 2-4 days, I'd try a HPT

I agree, each pregnancy can be different. And if you O'd on the 12th and spotted on the 19th, that's perfect timing for implantation bleeding. Then again, stress can do wacky things to your cycle so that's still a possibility. I would give it a couple of days and take a test.

Let us know how it turns out!
