I haven't taken Vitex but I have heard that if you already have a "normal" cycle, it can throw it out of whack. Which is precisely why I haven't tried it. Depending on what you think might be a factor in not getting pregnant, there are lots of other supplements you can try. I personally take Vitamin B6 to lengthen my luteal phase, zinc to maximize my body's use of hormones, CoQ10 and Royal Jelly for egg health, etc., etc.

Oh, and don't forget your DH. There are supplements he can take, too. As long as he's a good sport about it

Hope that helps!

I took vitex after my m/c and it helped regulate me. My SIL took it for about year and it showed improvement in her frequency of periods.

I took Vitex this pat summer to regulate and shorten my cycles. Did beautifully for 2 mos. I had regular 28 day cycles. I reduced the dose on the next month then my cycles became screwed up. After I didn't ovulate by cd 22, I stopped taking it. I ovulated about a week later. My cycles were kinda messed up for a cpl months then started becoming more regular.

You will have to stop taking the Vitex.. If u have a regular cycle, there's no need to take it. It's used to regulate your cycle. Hth!
