My husband and I have been trying for a long time to get pregnant and I'm hoping it's finally happened! My cycle began on January 7th and I ovulated last week, At this point I've had a small amount of pinkish/brown scant discharge and cramps, along with my breasts being tender and minor/mild headaches! I hope I'm not getting my hopes up on this one!!! I can't take a pregnancy test for another week and it's killing me! Does anyone think that I might be pregnant with the symptoms that I've shown over the past couple of days??

Hi and welcome! If you're spotting a week after ovulation, that's definitely a good sign. The other things might or might not be pregnancy signs...unfortunately, pregnancy symptoms and pms can be a lot alike! But again, the spotting is absolutely reason to feel hopeful!

BTW, a lot of ladies around here begin testing at 10 or 11 days past ovulation. So if you can't stand waiting a whole week, you might be able to test a few days earlier than that.

Thanks for the advice! I believe I am going to wait until at least Friday and test! It's going to be hard though, my husband is ready for me to just test now, I'm just afraid that I haven't let enough time pass yet, but my symptoms are not usual to a menstrual cycle that I've ever had! I'll keep you posted as the week progresses! Thanks again! ;o)

Friday sounds good. I think you're right that right now may be a little too early but I understand your DH's impatience...I always want to test too early, too!

I am in the same boat. My cycle started on Jan 3rd and I ovulated last week. I am 6 dpo and I have had cramping on my right side, headaches, nausea, and feel bloated. We have been trying for a while now. I am due to start Jan 31. I never had any of these symptoms with my first baby, but that was five years ago. I want to test now too, but I think its to early, and I am scared that I will get a BFN. Any advise on my symptoms? Keep us updated lillabelle........

Yeah, 6 dpo is too early but you could probably try testing in the next 4 or 5 days. Good luck!

I know what you mean! I'm starting to get little bumps around my aerolas and my breasts look a little bit veiny . . . . I'm just worried I'm over thinking this!!!

Well I tried to wait, but I couldn't. I took a HPT and it was a BFN. I know its to early, but I have read where some women can get a BFP when they start to have early signs of pregnancy. I will still test in a few days and hope to get a BFP. I too feel that I am over thinking this....
