i went in.. did my urine thing... she had me go in the room.. ultrasound is all set up and ready to go.. im ready to get the ultrasound.. she comes in.. and says the test came back negative.. i was like WHAT?! LOL... assuming shes a nut case and is new to reading tests LOL... i was like theres no way.. how do I get like 100 BFPs in the last week alone.. and 2 digis, one last night and one this morning.. she says well our tests are really sensitive.. so i said explain how i got a BFP on a digi twice, which is LESS sensitive than yours.. she was a little baffled.. i even brought my digital with me.. and of course.. it has to be their own.. blah blah blah.. but this wasnt FMU.. prob like my 15th urine of the day lol.. and i really dont think she gave it enough time.. she came in after like 3 minutes

so... i was to go to the lab.. so i went and got the blood drawn.. should hear back by thursday at the latest..

of course, i immediately went to the store.. got pregnancy tests.. came home.. took it.. and what do ya know... BFP! i took an answer.. it was SUPPPPERR faint JUST like the others.. i keep getting BFPs on FRER and Answer but CRAZY faint... so i took the other Answer this AM.. BFP but faint.. 3 hours later.. took a $$ store test.. imediately a BFP and it's dark... so this is why, i will never buy FRER or Answer again lol.. i duno why it just doesnt pick up.. i dont think it's as sensitive as it says it is

*****THE UPDATE*****

so i finally got the call back a couple of hours ago.. she said my levels came back at a 15.... FIFTEEN!!!! i had her repeat it THREE times.. and i said how is that POSSIBLE when the night before, i took a digital.. and the morning before i took another digital.. when those are a sensitivity of 50, theres NO way.. she said thats what they got back and are requesting a second blood draw.. so i just got back from doing that


i also took a HTP from the $$store when i got home.. so it's not FMU, maybe 3-4thMU .. and it came back just a tad lighter than my test from 2 days ago taken at the same time of the day (same timing of urine too).. so now im a little nervous that maybe they aren't far off, even if it was wrong or screwed up... blah!!!!!!

so i actually switched this AM to another OB.. but since i've been getting the testing done with this current one, i went ahead and didn't mention anything so i could get the 2nd draw and they can let me know the results.. they said Monday at the latest of finding out.... im sort of thinking about taking a trip to the ER before then coming up with something bogus because I dont think I can wait that long!

i have no idea.. i could only be 3 weeks at the most.. i believe i ovulated between the 3rd and the 13th.. being i just had a mc on dec 26th i really duno where im at in the cycle!

I have to wonder if the Answer's are producing fake positives after what happened with me, and now the same with you. Although, that doesn't answer how you got positive digis as well. Totally weird.

Doctor tests aren't that sensitive. They use what looks like the same thing you get at the dollar store or a parenthood center. Granted your dollar test was nice and dark this time, but the dollar test I was given after I got my "dark" BFP could only be seen if squinted at. lol

I think you're pregnant as well. It's even getting darker. Congratulations!

yep!!! but thinking on it.. if im only 3 weeks at most.. they arent going to see anything on an ultrasound anyways!.. not for atleast another 2-3 weeks

so im okay with that!

there no doubt to me im pregnant.. the Answer is pink and all.. just faint.. so i duno if they just arent AS sensitive.. if im only 3 weeks.. perhaps the Asnwer is more accurate and the $$ are more sensitive.. but then that doesnt explain how i got two BFP on the digis LOL.. so i duno.. but i have NO doubt im pregnant.. i keep taking tests and they are all BFP and all coming up nice and pink! but as i said.. i could only be 3 weeks at the most.. so i think just way early!

the dr office test is usually 50 to 100 mil some offices carry 25 but not all so maybe this is why and also it is possible for you to be so pregnant that the test show up negative.

I can't believe they are making you wait until Thursday for your lab results! Their test just couldn't have been sensitive OR maybe she just didn't read it right. Although, I think if I would have had to take a urine test at the doc's mine would have been negative as well because my hcg was low.

When they call you and tell you that you are pregnant, are you going to respond, "Well, duh!"?

When I went in at 11 DPO after getting BFPs on four different brands, including a digi, the nurse couldn't see a test line on their test. So they used a different test, and she had to bring the doctor over to look at it. The doctor did see it, but it was the faintest of faint lines, even though my HPTs were much more apparent.

My beta hCG ended up being 27 that day.

I don't know why doctor's offices thinks their tests are good when they clearly suck!

Remember i had the exact same thing happen to me!!! that doc didnt care and woudlnt even give me a blood test, that was on a monday Fri i went to a new doc a BFP on her test AND she still did blood--- 40 first draw 89 second draw--- still early, i must have O waaaaay later then i thought also!! good luck!! im sure everything is fine!!!

Yeah, the doc ones aren't as sensitive.. one of the times I got positives at home I went in and took one and they were like oh its negative. I wanted to be like show me the test! lol I think if its not blaring, and require even a tiny bit of squinting and they can't see it from across the room they call it negative. So stupid!

My doc doesn't do urine tests typically either. They have a blood draw done if you want, otherwise they say, you got a positive on an HPT, you are pregnant and they schedule you for your first appt at 8 weeks. She can't guarantee her test is more sensitive, or that perhaps she doesn't have a bad test, that happens too! GL tomorrow!!
