OK let me explain. in 2004 I had a tubal ligation with rings placed on both tubes, shortly after my cycles went crazy, I did research and saw that the rings could cause issues..so in 2007 I went to a Dr who performed a surgery to remove the rings. I read the opt report and also spoke with my Dr. my tubes were not seperated from the rings just scar tissue formed where they were. anyways its brings me to now..now my cycle aren't really regular like some months my period will state the same time every month Nd then sometimes it starts a little later than the last period. now last month I started the 23rd of Dec..just spotting, then the following day more but heavier, no clotts sorry tmi..then the next day spotting and then nothing but barely spotting. so really only bled for one full day. now its Jan 26 still no sign of AF. now about 2 weeks ago I had crazy flutters in my uterus area..u know the feeling like when u first feel ur baby move..well it came and went every so often for like a week straight..I looked it up and read people saying its gas then read that several woman had that very early i n pregnancy. now I know for me I know it wasn't gas. now for sometime I've been burping alot..and breaking wind sorry lol..I never do it as often as I have been. my breast are a little sore not major. they feel a little fuller, I haven't been nausous but haven't felt great my stomach feels a lil yucky at times..and I'm always hungry..I wake up at 5 am starving. I've had little headaches and my nipples seem to stock out more than they normally do. is it possible I could be pregnant? I mean I know nothing is impossible I've read of stories of it happening. has anyone had any of these types of symptoms and been pregnant..furthermore has anyone had scar tissue in tubes and got pregnant. I will get a test soon if I don't start but I guess I'm just looking to get opinions. thanks ladies

I can't help with your situation but I think if I were you, I would be going to the store today and getting a test to make sure.

I've been having weird symptoms for the entire week...waking up sick to my stomach, spotty bleeding, odd smells, cramping, etc and I picked up a 3 pack of tests last night. My test this morning came up a BFN but I have a feeling it's going to turn to a BFP over the next few days. My body is more accurate than the pregnancy tests at this point and I've been down this road before with 2 previous birth control failures.

Anything is possible, did they tell you that you could get pg after they removed the rings? I had my tubes tied in 04 and untied in 2010, but I didnt have scar tissue. On the belly flutters, from what I understand its like phantom baby movements the uterus does after you have been pregnant, I would get those even years after my kids were born. I would suggest that you take a pregnancy test as soon as possible, since you have had sugery on your tubes there is an increased risk of ectopic and that is something you dont want to go unnoticed. Since i had surgery on my tubes as well, my RE has all his patients do blood work every week once we are pregnant so he can keep a close eye on those numbers and watch for anything that doesnt look right in the numbers.

I know on the opt report he did write chance of pregnancy after removal. but I figured with the scar tissue it would pretty much prevent it. and if I were I would be super happy. we are having the tubao reversal done at the end of next month, but hey maybe I won't have too lol. I will def keep all posted. thanks for the advise&opinions :-)

I agree with the other ladies. It never hurts to go ahead and take a test and then at least you'll know one way or the other. Good luck!

You should totally test! I know of several ladies throughout my career that have become pregnant WITH the rings still in place.... so removal (even with scar tissue) makes it even more possible. There is really no way to gauge *how much* scar tissue there is, which means that an egg can slip through in one direction or even more likely a sperm (which is way way smaller) can slip through in the other direction. Your risk for ectopic pregnancy is exponentially higher at this point so it is very important if AF is late and you just *feel* something then you should test!
