just to update you girls.. i started spotting a bit ago.. called the OB office to see if they had gotten the results back, and what they looked like.. midwife had to call me back.. in the meantime my DH had already left for work.. i texted him to let him know that they wanted me to come in.. midwife calls me back and said my numbers didn't go up.. so to expect to lose the baby.. Monday i'll get another blood draw but i've no hope here.. i just want it to be done and over with already now
i want my DH to come home but he carpooled two guys so he doesnt think he can.. so i guess ill be going through this alone tonight and he wont get home til 3am

I'm so sorry. It's a hard thing even with support, let alone by yourself.

thanks everyone!... DH was actually able to get home.. so hes on his way now.. im glad i dont have to deal with it alone tonight.. perhaps a miracle happens and my numbers double over the weekend.. but im not going to be hopeful about it
im pissed off at my body and my doctors.. that perhaps if they had their shiz together we could have been able to do something sooner.. perhaps progesterone or something seeing as this is my 4th mc and the two pregnancies i have had children come out of were both preterm so it def sounds like my body has an issue staying pregnant..
so on Monday before i leave to get the blood draw i want to call into the midwife and see if we can do testing for the progesterone as well.. i duno how they do it.. but im up for it..
other than that.. we wont be TTC anymore... to much stress going on and we just learned my son has a hernia he will need repaired within the next 2 months so now I have to stress with putting my 4 year old child to sleep and under the knife (though its small incisions.. but still)..

Im sorry again about all the stess you are going through, my ds had a double inguinal hernia surgery at 5 weeks old... very scary. I would ask them to check the progesterone, its just a blood draw. My levels were very low with my 2 losses and with Isaac I took prometrium 400 mgs a day from 2 dpo, then we upped to 600 mgs a day at about 4 weeks pg until 14 weeks pg.

I am sorry I think even if you aren't going to be "trying" you should really talk to your midwife about starting progesterone the day you get your next BFP. I have had a lot of losses too and progesterone seems to be the key for me. (Also b6 and folic acid)

On 1/31 at exactly 16 weeks pregnant Noah came too soon. He was our 7th loss If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pitures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3

You may even want to talk to them about getting on some progesterone for when you're ready to try again, or the next time you get a BFP regardless of what the progesterone level testing says. I had my progesterone checked and my numbers were never "low enough" to necessarily indicate a need for the supplements but I was given endometrin 200mg nightly as a precaution and I really believe it could have helped. Even if it didn't help, it clearly didn't hurt so it is well worth it in my opinion! And like someone else suggested, I also had extra folic acid and baby aspirin daily with my prenatals (still take the folic and baby aspirin actually).
Sorry to hear about Hunter! Goodness girl, you can't catch a break can you?? Hope things turn around for you soon. Hang in there!
