Okay, for starters, I always feel so stupid when I post these questions b/c I feel like as a nurse I should know this! However, I work in a Diabetes Clinic and sometimes Family Practice. OB/GYN is so not my forte! LOL
That being said... I have a question about CM. I don't temp, I don't chart, and I don't check CP. I plan to start temping and charting next cycle if this one doesn't work... but I still know very little about it! My Ova-Cue has me in the WOO (window of opportunity) starting 2 days ago with a predicted O day of Monday. It is subject to change as I test each morning. Okay, so yesterday I noticed what might have been the start of EWCM when I wiped... it was clear and stretchy, but not a lot of it. Then again, it could have been *other stuff* as we have been very very loving lately! Today, though, when I wiped, there was more CM and a smear of bright red. I don't normally have mid-month spotting. And considering that today is only CD11 I'm very confused by it. Although, let me mention that I did take Soy Isoflavones this month... I'm willing to try anything at this point!!
Has anyone else experienced O bleeding and when was it???

Don't worry, I noticed that I learned far more about a woman's fertility from an NFP class we took than I learned in Nursing school!

Even if you don't normally have mid-cycle spotting, every cycle is unique. It can occur as soon as estrogen starts to rise at the beginning of the fertile phase or anytime during the fertile phase right up to ovulation. Don't get hung up on what CD it is. Your body will decide when it wants to be fertile and doesn't care what day it is. The signs your body gives you trump the calender!

Here is a neat article about a GYN who feels she didn't know her profession until she learned more about CM: http://billingslife.ca/dr_martin.pdf

And here's some info on tracking CM: http://www.woomb.org/learningBOM/B20...nstruction.pdf
