i know i've clearly long time over come the whole "am i pregnant" question LOl but you girls have been great support so far!
you know i had a blood draw last monday that gave me an HCG of only 15... then on Thursday a 2nd blood draw, friday midwife says the numbers hadnt changed much... i had started spotting on friday which got me the results ASAP from the blood draw.. the spotting was only pink, never bright red.. and it was light spotting.. then yesterday (2nd day of spotting) it was all brown spotting.. and no spotting today so far.. so thats a good sign.. i havent tested since Friday after hearing the bad news
but today a friend pressured me to go grab some tests.. so i did.. immediately took one when i got home which im sure my pee was pretty deluted..
so here is the picture.. all these tests are really only based off of 6 days.. some are just taken at diff times of the days (as you see)... but todays was already noticeably darker and hasnt even dried yet..
so with anyone's special experience or knowledge.. do i have a chance here?? or i should say does my baby have a chance here?! im not trying to get my hopes UP just to have some hope period that it's still possible (maybe a little more possible than just "anything is possible") .. i duno im just grabbing at everything i can here
with Van, i had a polyp on my uterus that made me spot a lot like i did the last couple of days (though this was WAY less mild still).. im supposed to go in tomorrow for another blood draw at the lab.. but i want to call the midwife and request for an ultrasound to see if perhaps there is a polyp on my uterus at all and perhaps thats where the spotting is coming from
im praying im just a slow HCG riser.. i've never had my HCG tested this early on before.. only with Van one time when i was at the hosp (bc of the bleeding and thats when i learned of the polyp).. im not worried about the spotting.. it's the numbers that has me worried
taken from FB, so it's got craptastic quality
** i woke up a bit ago to excess amount of blood went to the bathroom and it was just leaking out.. im cramping really bad, and my back is really aching.. i took a test and the line is just barely there.. so im positive the end is here... thanks everyone for the support though!!

I see lines on all of them. It's very possible your levels are just slow to rise. I really hope your bean sticks!!!!

i wonder if it's possible that the HCG can rise.. and then drop and then rise again!?.. because my first few tests were coming up nice and dark then started to get fainter but NONE of them were FMU except for 1/27.. but even still from 1/24 to 1/27 the line got fainter.. but todays was darker..

I definitely see a line too. Who knows, it could just be spotting similar to what you had last time. I know that happens to quite a few pregnant women (my mom included). Are you going to be getting any HCG testing done this week?

If your HCG are readable at all I'd ask for progesterone and watch your levels for a week.

okay i was going to do that as well tomorrow.. hoping the midwife hasnt given up on us yet and refuses it.. i had a session to do tomorrow but i canceled it so I can focus on this..
if this was going downhill would progesterone still help?!?! like is there a time frame we have to be in to still "save it" per se??

I was just about to say vanishing twin. What if your HCG was from two babies and then you lost one and when they took the second all you had was one baby producing HCG? I know NOTHING about this stuff, but I would wonder about that possibility - and go for another blood draw!

hm i duno about vanishing twin.. it's very possible and twins does run in my family (i have fraternal twin sisters) .. i never thought about vanishing twin.. but reading up on it now, it does say your HCG can go up, down, and up again.. that gives me a little more hope as well..
i didnt even get the level of the HCG from the second draw.. when the midwife was telling me it hadnt changed much i just sort of froze up in shock and literally all that could come from my mouth was "okay" as she was telling me what to expect and what to do and when.. i didnt even think to ask for the number
based on the tests solely.. my HCG was going up, then melowed out.. then is rising again.. but i know you can't depend on the faintness/darkness of the line either, but thats all i got for the moment
again im going to call her in the AM and ask if i can get that ultrasound.. perhaps if it was vanishing twin, she'd be able to see two sacks .. and if not that.. she'd be able to see blood preparing for a mc.. etc
from all my miscarriages.. i had it immediately.. the blood came on immediately and heavy as could be.. the pain in my back, the cramping and all that was immediate.. so far now supposedly im going on a week of an non viable pregnancy and all i've had was some pink spotting for one day and brown spotting the next.. and nothing more

I think that there is still a chance. You said yourself, it was light pink spotting, then brown. It's not over until it's OVER. I've got my fingers crossed for you.

Yeah, your line is clearly darker today....I'm going to jump on the vanishing twin bandwagon, too. That seems like it could be a distinct possibility. With both of my chemical pregnancies, my tests got light to non-existent and then I had a full blown "period." I know every woman is different but with a darker line today and only spotting to this point, I think you could still be in the game.

Some cysts can create HCG giving a false positive. looking at your tests I would say the odds of your hcg being over 2000 ( when they can generally see a sac) are pretty low. I do hope it's just a slow hcg rise and things are okay. Hope they can give you some answers tomorrow. About progesterone if the pregnancy is a good one I don't think it's too late for it. Mine was low this pregnancy and I was started on it at about 5 weeks. Good luck!
