Im very late CD-54 at the least 19 days late and nothing but BFN's with the way my chart looks im lost
but ive read that if your temp stays up for 18 days your most likely pregnant?? How high does it have to stay up ?can you have any temp dips?

Hi and welcome!

The theory is, if your temp stays elevated for more than 18 days after ovulation, you are pregnant. And by elevated, I mean it remains at post-ovulation temperatures (97.6 to 98.9 F, is the norm, give or take). It's fine if there are occasional dips as long as they go back up within a day or two.

Does your chart show clearly that you ovulated? If so, when was that? Honestly, home pregnancy tests are pretty reliable. However, you'll occasionally hear about a woman who never tests positive with one, so that is a rare possibility.

Hope that helps a little.

Can you ask your doctor for a blood test? You're super late...

Yep, I agree about asking for a blood test. You might even print out your chart and take it with you so you can show the doctor exactly what's going on.
