Hello,
I am new to the site and would like some advice...
Here's my situation:
I was on BCP till October whenever my DH and I started TTC. AF has been regular every month except for this month. AF should have come on January 12th but instead was 17 days late. During the 17 days I took 5 pregnancy tests all negative. I started bleeding on the 18th day, so my question is could I possibly be pregnant or is AF just very late. I've never in my whole life had AF be over 2 weeks late.
If anyone could please help me on this I would appreciate it

I'm sorry but I don't think so. Since you took 5 tests and all were negative it seems more likely AF was just late Maybe you were just stressed and wanting to be pregnant. But hey now is a new cycle so try again!!

When some women first come off the pill, it can take a while for their cycles to regulate. Even if you are regular for a couple of cycles right after where it seems normal. It sounds to me like you probably just didn't ovulate until a few weeks later. This happened to me quite a few times after I got my cycle back. Hope yours do soon! I would learn more about your fertile signs to help you track your ovulation. I read a book called Taking Charge of your Fertility and it was seriously the best thing I ever did.

I agree with Samantha. Since you had just come off BC not to long ago, I'm thinking your body is just trying to regulate again, and just is a little off hormonally. Everyone on this site is just full of information and support and I couldn't think of a more wonderful place to help during such a stressful time as TTCing.
