I actually feel really guilty for posting this. I said I wouldn't test until the day after AF was due (Monday), but the past few days I've had the uncontrollable urge! I'm sure a lot of you ladies can relate. I held off until this morning, when I finally broke down and took a test with FMU. I am 11dpo.

I should also add that I had a MC on Jan. 2. I didn't go to the doctor to get my blood checked because I live in Japan where they don't check HCG levels very frequently, and I was just too scared and upset. I did however take a HPT a few days after the bleeding stopped, and it was negative. I chart and know that I ovulated (confirmed by +OPK and temp rise).

In any case, I want to get your opinion on the test I took today. The first two were taken right after the 5 minute mark, in natural sunlight.






The last was taken a few minutes later (no longer than 10 minutes after the test was taken), out of the sunlight.




Please let me know if you think this is most likely positive, negative, evap, defective, whatever! These are ICs and are not expired. I'm planning to test again soon in any case, just to be sure one way or the other. Thanks in advance for the help!

it's definitely positive, but whether or not it's a new pregnancy is the question! I had a mc on Dec 26th, 4 days later, HCG was below 1, and HPT were negative there after.. got pregnant again right away (but miscarried that one as well on Monday).. but soooo many people brought it to my attention that they thought it could be retrained tissues.. but i got checked out for that... since you have not, i would HIGHLY suggest it.. apparently retained tissue can keep growing? and cause your HCG to rise though there is no actual pregnancy.. so i would highly suggest to get checked out... you should anyways since you had the miscarriage in the first place to make sure everything did infact clear out!

It's definitely positive and I think it's an appropriate amount of darkness for 11 dpo. Congratulations!
