So, i was going along with my day i had on frer left over so i took it.. mind you im 6 weeks 1 day today, it came back FAINT as all can be like a barley faint like a 9/10 DPO light line, so i ran out ( POAS addic i am) and bought more, SAME thing, i have had no spotting, bleeding, cramping sense the very first of all this... and today i think i have been sicker the longest ( all day naus ) then i have this whole time, has this happend to anyone else?? do you guys think im out or what the heck is going on sense there is no bleeding, spots, or cramping>?! Thanks you guys so much!!!

Have you heard of the hook effect? Where your hcg gets so high it doesn't come up on a pg test. Try drinking a bunch of water then take a test.

I can't remember exactly but I had 2 ladies in my PR talk to me about it. One took a test at 8 wks and her line was super light then she drank a bunch of water and the line was dark. Something about the water diluting the hcg down enough for pg tests to detect them.

Brandi, I had the same thing happen today. No more bleeding, nothing, but my test was lighter than 2 days ago. Glad to know I'm not the only one who freaked out!! Have you had hcg levels checked? My number shoudl be getting here any hour.

I actually had that happen around 18 dpo I think, by 14 dpo my test lines were taking all the dye from the control line so when I poas again at 18 dpo it was really light, and I freaked out thinking it was over since that's what it did with my past losses. But it was because of diluted urine, my beta at 14 dpo was 293 and at 19 dpo (the day after the big scare) it was 3,058. Maybe you can call your ob for a beta just for peace of mind.

oh my gosh!!! let me know what they come back at!! im glad im not the only one!! i had it checked 2-3 weeks ago when i spotted the first number was 40 then 2 days later it was 89. she said that was good and in range i was just really reaally really early ( i have no idea when i O ) and no spotting sense then?? sooo im going to try the water test... UG this pregnancy has been sooo stressfull =)

thanks guys, i tried it its a little darker.. not much!! I guess ill just hold out til my appt NEXT fri.. ugg
