Just wondering if there's anyone on here that took a while to get a BFP. I'm 1 week late, 2 tests say negative but my body's telling me positive lol. I've read on a few sites that it can take some ladys 3 weeks to get a positive after their period was due. Has anyone here experienced this? Xx

I was 17 DPO when I got my BFP. I tested at 13 and 15 DPO and got negatives.

Some women do take longer to get a + than others.

But I also know when you want to be pregnant, or even are worried you're pregnant, your body can mimic all sorts of pregnancy symptoms as well!

Hi and welcome! Most women will get a positive by the first day of their missed period. However, there are some who don't get a positive until later, if at all. It is also possible that you ovulated later than you thought and so you're not actually a week late, yet. You could request a blood test from your doctor or just give it a few more days and try a home pregnancy test again.
