Hi ladies I'm still around...I took an answer test today and if I think I ovulated when I did I'd be 11 dpo ...anyway I used second morning urine it was bfn to my eyes though had a little shadow of a second line before the time the say and now looks bfn idk...I'm having more symptoms not sure if it's stress or maybe I was off on my ovulation period...should my tests be positive by now? No sign of aunt flow I had it last dec 30th followed by spotting a week later for a few days ...I'm a month now off birth control and never had so many unusual symptoms for me. Is constipation a symptom? It was so bad last night having not gone in a few days my bf got me starbucks latte and banana chips to try and help...I won't do prunes hahaha...anyway I don't want my hopes shattered but I can't figure out why I don't have PMS at all and all these weird feelings ...any advice? Thanks

And a couple questions : can it take some people longer to get positives on hpt? Can some people only get positives on blood tests?

Your body still could be readjusting off of the birth control and that might be some of the things you are feeling now. And yes some woman will only get a positive on a blood test when they are in fact pregnant, but since you aren't 100% on your O date I would probably retest in a day or two or maybe even give it a bit more time. If it is still negative maybe call your doc and ask for a blood test.

Thanks for the reply. I go to th dr on Tuesday so if no changes by then I will ask. This just isn't normal for me. I've been off bc a couple times never felt like this. Guess I'll wait and see. Thank you for the info tho.

I absolutely agree with Caylynne. Any time our bodies adjust to hormonal changes, things can be thrown out of whack--even if you haven't experienced that before. Hopefully, though, the doctor can give you some answers. Good luck!
