So since I haven't had an official AF since November. I just realized that I've been taking allergy shots for the last year or two cause I have really bad allergies where we live. Not to mention that I've had sinus infections, ear infections, throat infections. So I've been off and on antibiotics for a long time.

What I'm wondering is since all this has happened, could that possibly toss my cycles into a whirl wind of chaos?

Cause I REALLY want to be pregnant. I want to have a little baby girl. And with DH and his logic, we can start really trying for real in March.

I have had cramps and things for the last week or so. AF like cramps, but still no AF. Some CM but nothing major. And with the younger DS's birthday party this past weekend I was super busy and stressing about it all. It was a massive angry birds throw down. LOL

So....any thoughts? LOL Thanks so much ladies

OK Google is so NOT my friend right now. I googled if antibiotics can affect my cycle and I've gotten a lot of NOs. That is not what I was looking for!

I want to TTC next month, but if I don't have an AF that's not gonna happen right? I kinda NEED that to be able to figure out time frames and such right? I was VERY lucky with both my boys. I kid you not, they were one shot deals. LOL

Whether or not the antibiotics can affect your cycle, illness certainly can. And the bottom line is, if you haven't had a period, you simply haven't ovulated. Because once you ovulate, you WILL have a period in roughly two weeks. What this means, though, is that you could still ovulate at any time.

If you don't start by the end of the month, it might be a good idea to see the doctor to get your period jump started so you can get down to baby making in March

I'm going today to get my regular allergy shot, and see what he says. I'd swear I O'd, but no AF came after. But the tests were -

And that was roughly maybe the 3rd week in Jan?

Well, depending on exactly when you ovulated, you could still be within the time frame to be waiting for AF or a BFP. When was the last time you tested?

Mmmm, about 2 weeks ago? Or early last week. I don't remember.

However just now when I went to the bathroom....there was some light red/brownish spotting. so I'm gonna assume that that's AF cause I am somewhat crampy. They do PG tests at the Dr, so I'm gonna go ahead and request one today. Depending on what test it is. I'll have a BFP or a BFN when I get home. LOL

And if this IS AF then I guess I'll have to get to BD'ing next month. Either way....this momma wants a girl. Too much testosterone in this house. LOL

went to the dr today, blood test was negative. Got my allergy shot and was sent on my way.

But I found out that when DH and I DO get pg, I'm not gonna be able to have my allergy shots! I take one every six months. If not I'm MISERABLE

He said wait and talk to my OBGYN and we'll decide what allergy meds are OK during pregnancy.

As for AF...yeah not so much. UGH. just a few spots yesterday. Today NOTHING
