I am new to this site just need some help i had af on 30/12/11 should of had my af on the 30/1/12
which means i am a week late now i had sex on and off the whole month did a test came back neg but i haveing cramping and feel sick could eat anything boobs are sore and really could sleep day asn night.could i be pregnant? x

Hi and welcome! When did you take a test? It's possible that you ovulated late this month and it was therefore too early to get a positive.

I know a lot of women do not get their BFP until well into their pregnancies.

It really depends. As a general rule, you should be able to test by the day your period is due. But if you ovulate late, then that throws off the whole timeline. And, as the PP said, there are some women who don't get a positive until later.
