i finally picked up a box of OPK.. sorry i know this isnt the "place", but i feel more comfortable here! so.. bare with me LOL... anyways.. i finally got a box of 20 FRER OPKs.. thanks to the free product coupon that i got from that jank FRER digital.. which ended up being half faulty lol.. okay off track here
so this is the first time i've taken the FRER OPKs.. ive only taken IC OPKs last month for the first time.. and i always was told there will always be a line, that it is not positive until the line is AS dark as the control
so here is where i need help.. i tested, and a faint line came up immediately.. not an extremely faint line, it's not a squinter.. it's just a bit fainter than the control.. so as i took it and laid it down i continued to read the instructions and it says that a POSITIVE test for the LH surge will " be similar, or equal to" the control line.. and shows two examples of a positive OPK.. the first one shows the control nice and dark, and the test line FAINTER ... the second was both test and control are equally dark....
the negative examples were no test line at all.. or the control was fainter than the test.. so it seems it goes by the same rule of thumb as a HPT... so im just confused here... is my test positive.. or am i supposed to go by the rule of thumb that there is always a line... im just so confused here since it's own instructions say the test line can be fainter and it be positive!
