I've searched the internet endlessly and still can't seem to find answers.
My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on March 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th. Around March 14th, I stopped taking my birth control (not purposefully). I thought that I had to wait to start taking them until my next period but later read on the box that if you miss 3 or more, you can start any Sunday, if that's when you initially started it.
.Then on March 29th-31st I have cramps like I get the day my period starts, but there was no bleeding. The day after the 31st was a Sunday so I took the bc pill. Not long after, bleeding started (if I had remained on the pills this would have been the exact time that I would take the placebo pills). The bleeding was light. I only needed a pantyliner. As it went on (for about 5days), it got lighter and changed colour. Started off red, then dark red/brown and then it was a redish, pinkish orange colour. It was also very thin, like water. (i had no physical symptoms of a period).
My gp did a pregnancy test on April 11th. It was negative.
Is there a chance that I could be pregnant. Did the gp test too soon? My next period (on pill) is due in 1 week and 1 day. Will I have to wait until then to retest?

Hi and welcome! If you had a negative pregnancy test on the 11th, you are very likely NOT pregnant. If you didn't have any unprotected sex after March 19th, then the test you took would have most certainly been accurate. More than likely, starting and stopping the pill just messed up your cycle a little bit. I don't see any need to test again. Hope that helps!
