so I haven't had a period since October 2011, I've been taking HPTs every month and they keep coming out negative, I've had some back pain and other small things, but no definitive pregnancy symptoms. I started getting bad pains in my left side near my rib and it lasted for about a week so I decided to go get an x-ray to see if something was going on with my gallbladder, and also may see if i'm pregnant, I know you shouldn't get x-rays while pregnant, but 1 x-ray isn't going to hurt anything, that's what they used before they had ultrasounds and babies turned out fine... anyways, I got copies of my x-rays and they did an abdominal x-ray and the lowest is goes is the very top of my pelvic bone... my question is, if I really am pregnant could the baby still be low enough in my pelvis to where it wouldn't show up in the x-ray, I'd be 22 weeks now, if I don't get my period again this month I'm planning on getting a blood test finally

Your uterus and baby would be to your belly button by 22wks and would be seen on x-ray. You are not 22wks pregnant. If you are still getting negatives by now I would talk to your doctor about geting progesterone to start your period.

I agree that you are most likely not pregnant. It never hurts to get a blood test, of course, but if you are consistently getting negative home tests, you probably aren't pregnant. In any case, I hope you get some answers soon!

I would think at 22 weeks it would definitely show in a x ray... I would definitely schedule an appointment get blood work done and if/when negative get on some pills to bring you period back so you can start ovulating so you will be able to get pregnant if that's what you're wanting.

I agree, get some pills to get the AF started again. Mine was gone for almost 3 months, but it turned out to be cysts.
