Yay! I'm glad to hear(see?) You say that loving! Especially since I'm hoping for a girl. DH is hoping for a boy. Lol. But honestly, happy and healthy is most important to us.

And thanks for the support Pamela! I feel like everything is okay too. I'm less stressed than i was before we found out the good news!

So yesterday I had my u/s appointment. They DID find a gestational sack as well as a yolk sack but the doctor said she couldn't find the fetal pole. Unfortunately I didn't get my HCG levels either though they did do bloodwork so I will hopefully have those numbers next week after my second u/s. After I get the picture from the u/s I will come back and edit this post to include it.

Any thoughts or opinions? personal experiences with ultrasounds?

Is it normal to not see a fetal pole at 5w, 3d?

I don't know what to expect to see at this early but I am so excited to see the ultrasound even though I can't read it!!! Did the radiologist suggest there should have been more to see?

I'm lurking, but it is pretty normal. By now though i'm sure it'll be there since most of the time you won't even see a heartbeat until 6-7 weeks. Also congrats and that is one pretty ultrasound picture!

I've never had an ultrasound that early, so I don't know what to expect. When is the next ultrasound? I bet you'll see something then! I can't wait to hear!

Thanks for the responses!

The doctor is the one who did my ultrasound so I got to hear the results before I even got dressed and ask questions right away which was really nice. She didn't seem worried, just thought maybe I had my dates wrong. I know around when I O'd but not the exact 24hr window. Next ultrasound is tomorrow! So if I can persuade them to give me another picture then I will certainly post it on here. I'm so worried and nervous that something will be wrong. I am not stressed by any means just worried like any new mom to be would I guess.

I also have a cyst on my right ovary that she said was 5.6cm (about 2+ inches) that has two other cysts growing on it...not sure what to make of that. But they are monitoring them since they seem to have grown a substantial amount since the ultrasound I had on April 25th when I went to the ER. Anyone ever hear about multiple corpus luteum cysts on one cyst? It has me quite confused.

Hey everyone! I had my u/s just now! And I have great news! There is a baby with a heartbeat! The cyst is now about 7cm so about 3 inches or so if I remember correctly. My OB said that it might go away on it's own betwen weeks 9 & 11, so we'll just have to wait. But the important thing is that I saw a heartbeat! I am so excited right now! Picture soon to follow!

Yay!!!! I love ultrasound pictures. Did they tell you how many bpm it is? Hopefully the cysts go away on their own in a couple of weeks.

No he didn't say. I didn't get to hear it either but it was there! I'm actually fixing to go pick up my husband and show him the ultrasound picture. He probly doesn't know what he's looking for yet.

Hopefully he can go to my next one on the 24th of May. It will be my official dating ultrasound. And the day before my birthday so what a great present!

It is! and I was so happy too because I was getting worried after a few people on other boards and the people i follow on youtube had miscarriages. I was so worried. I feel quite relieved even though we aren't quite in the clear.
