Had unprotected sex on day of ovulation 18 days ago, my period is 6 days late today, i'm usually very regular every 28 days. Even though pregnancy test says negative (taken today) could i still be pregnant?

Hi. With my daughter I was 12 days late before I got a positive. So, it's def possible you could be preg. But, I'm having my own doubts as well Good luck to you.

Hi and welcome! Are you certain about when you ovulated? Most women will get their period by 18 dpo unless they are pregnant. A cyst, however, could delay your period. If you are absolutely certain about when you ovulated (if you confirmed it by charting your temp, for example), then it would probably be a good idea to request a blood test from your doctor. There are some women who just don't secrete as much hcg into their urine, making it take longer to get a positive result on a home test.

hii..i am on same boat also having my period 8 days late and negative hpt
and also having signs of pregnancy so my advise to you is wait for few days
and again go for hpt or ask your doctor about this.may be doctor suggest you to go for a blood test..
