Hi all. I've posted before about poss pg symptoms, but what I thought was AF arrived, so I fig'd I wasn't pg. A little bkgrnd info:
-not ttc (on ortho tricyclen, although I take it late sometimes)
-LMP 30 March
-DTD 6 April
-started feeling "symptoms" around 16 April (mostly breast tenderness)
-taken several HPTs, mostly neg, a couple "iffy" ones
-poss AF started 26 April, about 4-5 days earlier than expected, w/ light, sporadic flow. TMI -- contained clots w/largest one being about quarter size. Completely stopped after about 38 hrs.
-still experiencing breast tenderness, veins in breasts, and slight nausea

Okay, my question is: Does it sound like a chem pg? Should these symptoms be gone if it was a chem pg? Also, w/ my last pg (full term) I didn't show a + until 12 days after missed period. So confused. I'm thinking chances are rather high that I'm not pg, but still feel weird. I have an appt for next wk w/ OB. Thanks in advance

i could be wrong but this is what i think:

With ortho tricyclen the hormones are different for each week if i remember correctly from when i was on it at 17. and because of that your body could be having an overload of hormones which could be what caused you to have the early bleeding. I think if it were a chemical the symptoms would have been gone already since there would be a lack of the hormones. this is just my opinion though! if you aren't sure your best bet would be to check with your doctor. they could run a blood test and get your levels checked.

Yeah. Guess I've gotta wait til I see my dr because I've always been pretty reg on bcp and never had any significant symptoms. I kept taking my last few pills (7 were "sugar pills, 5 from 3rd wk pills). I'm just trying to fig out what's going on in my body. I'm always pretty reg and symptom-free :-/ Thanks for the input
