This is my first time to post, but I am about to go nuts. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about a year now. I am currently on 50 mg of clomid. This month we did our first IUI on the day after my LH surged. The doc said he had 160 million sperm post wash and the sperm had 86% motility. He said that was good but???
So I am supposed to start my period in 5 days. Last week I started having my normal period symptoms, which is a real gassy feeling in the uterus. Hard to explain, but kind of like bubbles and gas but in the uterus area?? Not painful, but it just feels like there is "action" going on and my body is gearing up for my period. This happens every month. So last week I thought of course I am not pregnant.
I went in on day 22 of my cycle for my normal bloodwork and the nurse who always calls me says your lab work looks great and I will not be surprised if you call me next week to tell me you're pregnant. She never says that! The first month on clomid my progesterone level was 45and I was not pregnant, that time she said I don't want to get your hopes up. This month she said that the level was above 45....but I am wondering if she is seeing something else??? Do they test HCG levels on those blood tests? Is it too early for them to know? I kind of wish she hadn't said that because I really feel like I am about to get my period. Any thoughts would help..........

I felt like I was going to start my AF. In fact I was cramping so bad that I told hubby that we didnt get pregnant this time and I am about to have a very bad AF. Low n Behold, 5 days later Im testing positive. So yes, being pregnant could make you feel like you are going to start you af soon.

Thank you all so much for your responses. Yes, I did take a HPT yesterday afternoon. It was negative. I know that it was a bit early being 5 days out and not taking it with my first morning urine. I was thinking of taking one first thing this morning but getting negative tests has been so difficult that I couldn't bring myself to take another one.
I hope that you are all correct and I am just feeling these symptoms but that I am pregnant! I will let you all know. Hubby being soooo sweet, went home early yesterday to clean house before I got home from work. He said that he knows I am on an emotional roller coaster right now and he is trying to be extra supportive. Good hubby.

I am in the same boat, cramping on and off now since Friday. I ahven't had a real period in probably close to 15 years because of birth control so I don't remember what it even feels like!!!
I couldn't resist and poas this morning bfn. It is such a sad feeling, I am with you... if you are you are, and better to think you are getting af and then get a nice surprise when you don't!

I felt period symptoms for my pregnancy and the only difference was that when I jumped my breasts hurt. It's entirely possible that you're getting pregnancy symptoms. Good luck!
