Hi. Im late for my period. I held my urine about an hour just now.. took a dollar new choice test and within about 4 minutes when all the dye was done in the test i had a baby pink positive line and dark control line. I took another one to make sure. Same result. I then took a FRER with the same urine i used the dollar test with and it took 7-8 minutes for an extremely faint barely noticeable beigish pink line to appear. The dollar test is much darker and came up alot quicker. Has this happened to anyone else? I thought FRER was the best test? thanks

I am not a fan of FRER. I have heard that a lot of ladies get a bfp on the dollar ones before the FRER though. Post pics

I used a $ store new choice today at what I was estimating was 10dpo and I thought I saw something but I decided I didn't and thew it away and am planning to test once more in like 3 days. Actually I looked up pictures and some people who actually were/are pregnant got what appears to me as the same result I got at 10dpo so maybe I did see something. I read a majority of false negs come from testing prior to 13dpo.. obviously some get them before and some after so it varies but I would guess yours is a legitimate positive and should probably keep testing a few more times or get a blood test to confirm!

Dollar store tests are just as good. I know my sister got positive results with it. And I used a dollar store ovulation test, and it was accurate too.

The room for errors is so great with the cheapies that I never believed it until I saw good lines are a good test. I prefer FRER but that's just my opinion. They work fine for some women
