Feels funny to post a question about the same topic where I've earlier answered, but I guess I want some reassurance one way or another.

So was today at the hospital again to take the test for Hypothyroidism and I was able to squeeze some more information from the nurse. First of all, they didn't do a quantitative blood test, so even the blood test would show up negative if the level is under 20-25mIU (not sure which one it is).

*edit* whoops, forgot to write if it was unclear that the blood test was BFN *edit*

The other thing I managed to squeeze out is that my prolactine levels are higher than normally. How much higher I do not know but the nurse promised to call me today or Monday. With the time being what it is I'd say I'll know on Monday.

However I'm now on CD 40 today and I know that elevated prolactine levels can cause disturbance in your cycle, just wondering.. how likely would it be that the HCG levels would still be too low to show up on the blood test and could the prolactine levels just be elevated because of a pregnancy?

TMI.. Otherwise the situation with my breast is that now even the left one shows some signs of a discharge but not a 100% sure. Right one is still having discharge as before but it has also been more sore, like if I have something pressing on it it easily starts to ache.

I know this is a long shot but still thought to ask. Also thought to go and take a quantitative blood test on Monday if AF still hasn't shown up.

So I caved in.. once again :/ I actually do have a pic for you this time It's taken with my mobile while I don really won a good camera but I hope it's good enough.. I do believe I see something in it and it drives me crazy that I'm not getting either clear neg or clear pos. Anyways.. Here's the pic!

Hi, I can't help in any way only that I'm in the same situation. I'm on cd39 today with lots of pg symptoms and no signs whatsoever of af. I haven't had a blood test yet but have taken 3 home tests which were all negative. Have you got negative home tests too? Keep me posted and hope you get the answers you're looking for x

Hmm... I can say I have had confusing home tests! Like getting a line on "the last minute" of a test with 30 minutes test time, or then getting something really faint that doesn't really even show up in picture, pure neg or my favorite, a thick pink line - which came a few hours after I took the test..

Pretty confusing then. I've got a test that I think showed a really really faint line but way after the testing time and 2 definite negatives :-( so confused!

I could add that I've been really tired (slept 18h last night) and that I know that there has been late BFNs in my family if that's to any help.. Would poas once again but I slept when the pharmacy was open and it's closed tomorrow

unfortunately they don't sell FRERs in here.. the most accurate I can get is 10mIU but the pharmacy was closed today so I had to get a regular one :/

Oh and the line or something how you wanna call it showed up almost straight away.. is that usual in case it's just an evap?

Yup yup Going to the quantitative blood test tomorrow anyways and hopefully it will turn up positive!

I hope so too.. Going to the blood test in a few hours and probably to the pharmacy after it for a more sensitive test.. Even with a blood test I can't deny being a POAS-holic I'll let you know how it goes!

Sorry, thought it was more clear to post a new thread but I put the same text in here as well then:

Oh well.. Went to the quantitative blood test now and the result was under 3, meaning not pregnant. Feel kinda relieved that finally got some permanent answer, but on the other hand disappointed as well. At least now I can concentrate to get my first cycle after BC and hopefully the milk problem will resolve it self as well.

I got the results of the thyroid today as well and that was negative, but my prolactine levels were 889 so a tad high. My breast have began to be really sore probably because of the milk coming up, but still have to wait until the 24th before talking to the doctor about it. Hopefully nothing serious

I'll surely be lurking around but this cycle wasn't mine. Good luck and baby dust to the rest of you!

Sorry, I'm behind on posts so I must have missed your update thread. And I'm sorry about the blood test. I hope you get everything straightened out soon and that your BFP comes quickly!
