I've read it takes 6-10 days for a fertilized egg to implant. But my sister, with her pregnancy, knew she ovulated and three days later was having symptoms.

Here's my story:

I had my last period on may27-30. Two weeks later, on June 12 around 10pm, I had cramping on my right side. On June 13, I finally talked my husband into making love. but it was around 9pm. (24 hours after i thibk i ovulated) On June 15, I had some mild cramping in the middle of the day. But I was also having gas and feeling bloated. I also started getting diarrhea, which I've had for two days straight now. When I took my bra off that night (the 15th), my nipples were very tender and they still are. And to top it all off, my in laws took us to eat breakfast, and I LOVE LOVE hashbrowns, but I could not eat them. And I have had them at this place before and knew they were good. And last night I had some nausea before bed.

It's do hard to wait to take that test! I realize these could all be PMS symptoms too. I have been on birth control for 6 years that have made my periods wacky and don't have usual PMS symptoms to go by.

They very well could be symptoms of either. If you think you ovulated on June 12, I think today is still to early to tell. I know you probably know this already, but if you're aiming for getting pregnant, I think you're supposed to have sex at least 24 hours before you ovulate (Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). You said your periods are wacky because of birth control, but do you have any idea of how long your cycles usually are?

I don't know how long my cycles are. It's been almost 7 years since I started birth control, it's hard to remember especially since I was a teenager and didn't think to keep track back then. Lol!
