Hi I am new to justmommies and would just like to get some opinions from other people on if it is possible that I could be pregnant. My Fiance and I had sex two days after my period and I know it is very unlikely to get pregnant then, but how possible is it? I am on my 15 day of my cycle and my AF is not supposed to come for another 9 days. I have had slight headaches, slight cramping on my left side for the last 4 to 5 days. I have gagged a few time randomly and feel nauesous after eating. I also have a strong sense of smell at time and my left nipple is alittle senitive. I don't know if these symptoms are all in my head because of the fact that think I could be pregnant or if they are really there. My cycle varies in days sometimes it is 27days but this month it was 24days. A few months back it was 22days so I am not sure when I ovulated. I am just wanting some opinions of if i could be or not. We werent trying for a baby but it wouldn't be the end of the world if we were! Thanks for everything!!

If you aren't sure when you ovulate, it is possible to ovulate early in your cycle, especially if your cycles aren't long anyways.

Ovulation is possible as early as day 5, so fertility can begin during AF (since sperm can survive in your body up to 5 days if cervical mucus is present at the time of intercourse). Pregnancy is certainly possible, but it's hard to say what the odds are without any further information about your signs of fertility.

Did you have sex two days after your period started or after it ended? It's possible either way, as the other ladies have said, but if you had sex two days after your period ended, it seems more likely to me.

Yes we had sex 2 days after my period so it would have been on day 7 of my cycle and my cycles are usually shorter than longer with it only being 21 days some months. After having sex on the 7th day I was watching my body and the observing it and the symptoms I was having and they were out of the norm for me, never experiecing them before. Now tonight at work I started have white sticky and kind of lumpy discharge in my underwear and i was more wet than usually sorry if this is to much info but I was curious to why this is. Could it be ovulation beings it was my 15 day of my cycle and my period isnt due for another 6 to 7 days now. Is the discharge from ovulation?

It's hard to say! If you were able to confirm ovulation earlier in the cycle, this could just be normal infertile discharge that occurs between ovulation and menstruation. There is a slight estrogen rise that happens midway between ovulation and menstruation, to help with implantation if conception has occurred. That slight rise can cause some discharge.

However, if you were not able to confirm ovulation earlier in the cycle - this could very well be a sign that your body is trying to ovulate now.

Did you write down a description of the signs you've been noticing this cycle? That can help solve the mystery as to when ovulation may have occurred, of *IF* it has!

All the symptoms I had were were around the 13th and 14th which would have only been a few days after we had intercourse but the thing is I have never felt that way before before or after a period and I know it would be too early for changes even if I did conceive. Those symptoms slowly dissappeared as the days went by and then yesterday on the 19th I started having the white sticky discharge and woke up this morning feeling a little nauseous and my slight headaches turned in to strong blown headaches that at times feel like I could possibly puke and I also feel warmer today too. Not sure what the deal is, I was hoping I wasn't pregnant but now after thinking about it, it has got me excited and I if I was which i have a feeling theres a slim chance I wouldn't mind one bit I am just confused by all the new symptoms my body is going through and how it is making me feel when I have never felt this lousy before, who knows maybe they are new symptoms of PMS
