So I missed 2 days of bc pills and took 3 yesterday but it's the 2nd week in my pack so I think I ovulated due to cm being stickier than usual and we dtd before I realize I forgot pills...maybe I'm just too hopeful but I've been cramping more than usual is that a sign of conception or implantation? I've been nauseas too more than normal... I swear I'm a symptom freak and poas addict lol What you guys think? Just asking for fun be nice

it honestly depends on the type of pill you're on. some block ovulation and some affect your uterus lining to prevent implanting, some do both. You'd have to read the pamphlet that came with your pills to see which type your on and how it works.
*usually* combination pills that have both estrogen and progesterone block ovulation and sometimes affect the lining of your uterus as where low-progesterone only pills such as the mini pill *typically* affect cervical mucus and the lining of the uterus but sometimes it can block ovulation as well. Any time you miss more than one of any type of pill your chances of becoming pregnant go up because evidence shows it usually happens at the most fertile point of your cycle. Based on you saying that you're only 2 weeks into a pack of pills, if anything, it's ovulation as it would be just a few days too early for implantation and symptoms to start.

Now i do have to play devil's advocate here and ask- is your partner is ready for a baby? You had posted here a couple weeks ago that you had some issues with switching pills and some antibiotics. If he's not 100% ready for a baby or doesn't know that you had issues with taking the pill, you may want to switch to a more reliable form of birth control that you can't miss and is less likely to be affected by antibiotics should you need to take them in the future. If your are both ready for a baby but not ready to actively TTC, why not stop the pills and move onto NTNP and if and when it happens, it happens?

And i apologize if any part of that came out harsh, i've reread it like 5 different times to see if there was any rewording i could come up with.

Thanks for that info...As far as my bf he doesnt want a baby but he would rather wait until after we get married and are more settled. That wasnt harsh I knew what you meant and Thank you. Im usually really good about my pills and I take pysch meds too so I usually take everything the same time at night every night but i must have fallen asleep those two nights before I remembered to take them. I am on regular bc pills but might go back to mini pill after this month when i see the dr next friday. Anyway I also love my justmommies friends i try to be a part of the chitter chatter hehe
