Hi ladies - fiance and I had been NTNP for a while, and this is our first month TTC. Last MP was June 22nd, and I run a 32 day average cycle so ovulation date was the 10th of this month. We had sex every day from the 6th-10th, and I think I ovulated on time - felt the twinge, EWCM, etc, plus really tender breasts since the 11th. I'm now 6 dpo. Breasts are still tender, especially nipples (and, oddly, more so my right than my left, but I'm a little uneven size-wise and the right is the bigger boob LOL). I've had sore boobs post ovulation in the past, so it's not all that unusual, but it's been awhile since they were this sore. And the nipple pain is different, I think.

So today at work, I sat down and got this sudden, very focused "pinching" sensation in my lower right-hand abdomen. Sort of felt like someone pinched a bit of muscle just under the surface of my belly and tugged it. Then about 15-20 minutes later, same thing, but more towards the middle of my belly just above my pubic bone. Felt sort of shallow, not uterine per se but who knows - definitely NOT like a menstrual cramp. Hurt a tad, but not too bad and was over fast. I also got a bit dizzy when I stood up after sitting a while, and I feel like I'm getting out of breath easier than normal (that could be dehydration or lack of sleep, too, though). The last few days I've felt pretty dry "down there" and not had noticable CM, but today I have thin (not stretchy) but milky/creamy CM and I noticed it's stronger smelling than last week (sort of a sweet metallic musky smell? Sorry, TMI I know, but if you can't share your gory personal details with anonymous online strangers, then who CAN you share with? ). About an hour ago I felt like I had really, really mild uterine cramps, but I also have a lot of digestive issues (gas, irregular bowels, etc) that sometimes make me feel crampy so I'm not certain it was uterine. No spotting or implantation bleeding so far, and I know it's still really early, but is it possible that what I was feeling was implantation cramping/pain? Could I be pregnant? We're both young and in good health overall (my digestive issues are not a serious issue), neither of us drink/smoke/do drugs, and I feel like I timed my o-date well. What are the chances that I get pregnant this month, roughly?

This wait is killing me! I can't wait for me and my guy to have our sweet little bi-racial babe!

Forgot to add- my lower back is achy as well. I'm just wondering, if it's too early for a test and the hormone levels have not increased enough to be detected (assuming I AM pregnant), is it impossible to have any symptoms? I mean, how would I have any symptoms if there aren't any hormone surges in my bloodstream? If I conceived but have not implanted, or JUST implanted, is it impossible to have symptoms? This is all so overwhelming!

I looked at everything that was going on with my body right after I O every month, almost looked into it too much, you know?

I am sending hopes that you are. The waiting just sucks. I am currently waiting for more blood work tomorrow to see if my hcg has doubled (finders crossed).

I wouldn't even bother testing til at least 8dpo, even then it's pretty early and most won't get a positive if they even were. I did though, very faint. I knew I was pregnant at 4dpo I had pinching for like a day or 2, and some IB

Thank for the replies, ladies. No more pinching today, and still no implantation bleeding. I'm so neurotic! Every time I go to the bathroom I'm crossing my fingers that I see pink/brown when I wipe! Lol LuvRBx5, Im not planning on testing until at least 8 dpo, maybe 10 dpo if I can handle the wait! I'm posting here partly to satiate my need for obsessing without spending $ on tests and then feeling that disappointment when I don't see a line. REALLY hoping I see that line soon though!

Implantation spotting isn't something that happens to everyone. Most won't experience it. I had 5 pregnancies and only saw it once, with #4 and that could have been because I was ttc and was very aware of what my body was doing lol and I was convinced I was pregnant by 4dpo when I had little pinches/stabs low down.

Hi there! Pinching sensations like you describe are a common early pregnancy sign, particularly around implantation time. It's totally possible that's what you have going on. If you have money to spare, I'd start testing on Thursday with a pink dye test. That's still pretty early but well within the possibility of getting a positive. Thanks! LuvRBx5, I keep telling myself that no IB doesn't mean no baby, I think I just want an "obvious" sign of some sort and I keep hoping that I'll get IB so that I have something more concrete to hold onto rather than just symptoms that I'm half convinced I'm making up! LOL

strvnwritr, that makes me so excited! I'm trying not to get ahead of myself and get too excited, but it's hard not to when I want that BFP so badly! My fiance is Chinese (I'm white) and we've already started calling any potential baby "Mung Bean" in honor of her/his Chinese heritage LOL, so it's hard not to think of her/him as "real" already, you know? I've already got some cheapie tests lined up to start testing at 9 dpo (Thursday!), with the plan to test every two days either until a BFP or AF happens. Knowing me and my obsessive tendencies, I'll probably end up testing every freakin' day LOL. That's why I got dollar store cheapies with some more pricey tests to confirm anything that pops on the cheap tests. I'll keep you posted!

Had some light pinching and some cm few days after ovulation and those were my two major signs! My nipples were more erect , but mybb didn't hurt! I tested on 2 days before my cycle due date and a bfn then on my actual af date and BFP! I am 5 weeks!

I had similar symptoms, got three blaring midday bfps on what I think was 8 dpo. I would test. My biggest tip-off was the cm (had a LOT of ewcm) and the mild cramping. I did not experience either symptom when I was pregnant with my daughter, but from lurking on JM, I knew these could be symptoms. FX'ed for you!!!

Well I tested and so far, BFN. I'm not too worried yet since it's still only 8dpo, but I had been reading about so many people testing positive on 8dpo or so that I couldn't help but test. I figured at least then I would stop thinking about testing for the day! No BFP, but today I feel pretty tired (yawned my way through a meeting this afternoon, never do that) and I've had a low-grade headache all evening. No more cramps or pinching though. If it's too early to test +, is it too early for any symptoms? I worry that I'm looking so hard for symptoms that I'm making them appear!

I'm telling myself not to be disappointed with the BFN, as I've read the average for implantation is 9 days (and up to 12 days at the outside range) so it's possible that if I conceived that I haven't even implanted yet, but still could. That's possible, right? For as many "I tested positive at 9 dpo!" stories I've seen, I've seen an equal number of "I didn't test positive until a week after my missed period!" tales. I guess I'm just hoping I get to be one of the early BFN-ers!

Oh, also - my boobs ITCH and are still sore. They itch along the outside and the nipples - anyone have that happen as a pregnancy sign?

My breasts never got sore with pregnancy.... I'd get the itchyness!! It happened all 5 times, some with heavyness and some with just the itchyness and the heaviness came later.

OMG! I got up this morning and tested, and it turned out to be a BFN. BUT, when I wiped, I saw just a bit of pinkish-brown on the TP. I sat there and stared at it like a loon for a few minutes, convinced I was seeing things, but I wasn't! I still have 6 days to go til AF is expected (assuming I'm on my regular 32 day cycle and not having an irregular period...), so I think this might be IB!!! It fits, time-wise - today is 9dpo. Of course I'm also scared that it's spotting for an early period, but it doesn't seem like that to me. I don't ever spot, and the first day of AF is usually light but not THIS light - Usually when AF arrives there's no question. And my boobs still itch LOL!

Should I be excited?

Also still have a low-grade headache from last night. If it was IB, how soon can I test and expect a positive? I was reading that FRERs can detect hCG early - levels as low as 12.5. If I took one of those tomorrow is there a chance it could be positive? Or do I wait a few days? The suspense is KILLING me!!!

Well either this is very heavy IB, or AF is almost a week early. what the heck? This sucks! Is it still possible that I'm pregnant, and this is just heavy spotting? It's still lighter than AF so far, but bright red to light pink. I was really starting to get my hopes up! Anyone have heavy spotting and then get a BFP?
