so, this is not directly related to pregnancy, although it is in the 'broader' sense !!
In May I got vitamin B6 as I was feeling down and exhausted from work pressures and just everythin gin general so I was recommended B6 for this as its meant to be 'fabulous' for giving energy and reducing tiredness, and for help in stressful/anxious times.
So I took one a day (50mg) but I found instead of getting better I was actually feeling worse , I don't know whether that was all in my mind or what but after a few weeks I stopped taking them and gradually have improved ( again, not sure of there is a link). So anyway, i put the bottle in the cupboard and kin dof forgot abou tit and then today was looking for something and came across the bottle again. I must add here that when I stoppped the bottle was still over 70-80% full as I had only taken it on and off for a few weeks.
Well, when i looked inside it seemed like half the tablets had vanished! But on closer inspection i saw that many had 'crumbled' and become powder/tiny crumbly pieces. Needless to say I did freak out and immediately googled (after assuming I had ingested God knows what in the form of Vit B6!). On the internet i managed to find some info saying that when medicines/drugs are expired they show signs of degradation or spoilage such as crumbling.
Has anyone else experienced this or herd of something like this? It had/has really got me worried. I had brought these at Hollands and Barretts (sealed) , which is a reputed all -naturel store and I have had many things from them before aswell. Also, the expiry date on this is 2014. Perhaps they got the date wrong? The bottle was stored in a dry cupoboard away from sunlight .
oh yes, my point being...this post is 'indirectly' related to pregnancy as if i have vitamins it will improve health which will lead to a healthy ttc period...lol
