It's me again. Sorry!! ok so I had missed the first week of birth control. I missed the first pill of the first week on August 5. Is it possible to ovulate right after stopping the pill? It has been exactly a week since I have stopped the pill but have been nauseous the past 3 days. Technically I should start ovulating tomorrow but is it possible I could have ovulated earlier than expected and conceived?

Well, it's possible to ovulate on the pill - so yes, it's possible to ovulate right after stopping it too. The Pill works by suppressing ovulation some of the time, but ensuring that the lining of your uterus is too thin to support a pregnancy the rest of the time. There's no way to know exactly when ovulation is occurring on the Pill because the synthetic hormones interfere with the signs of fertility that would normally tell you when it's happening.

Yes definitely. Stopping the pill could cause you to ovulate almost right away or not at all for awhile. It's really touch and go. There are no definites because your cycle hasn't figured itself out without the help of hormones.
