i.... don't even know where to start. i got an iud put in about 6 months ago.... and it ended up falling out before my first period. the doctor said it would be ok to insert a new one...... so we did and they ended up scratching my uterus and it put me in the hospital for loss of blood but they did an ultrasound and it was correctly placed so i went on the next few months enjoying the iud. spotting here and there etc...... well my last period started on July 17th or 18th. i ended up losing my 2nd IUD on that friday and continued my period for a few more days. well........ i'm usually on time with my period. usually every 28-30 days.... usually never........ ever later than that..... and now i'm on day 33 (almost 34) and still no period. i took a test yesterday and it was negative. i did have sex a couple of times this months but with a condom. i guess.... i'm kind of worried that the bleeding was from the iud falling out instead of a period....and i could possibly be pregnant from the iud making its way out. i did not use condoms when i had the iud. i guess i'm just lost...... and worried. i already have two kids and wasnt planning on anymore. does anyone have any thoughts on this? i will try testing more in a few days... etc...... a part of me kind of actually does feel pregnant.... but i'm not sure why i'd stilll be having negative tests....

I'm not sure. The only thing that I can say is talk to your doctor make an appointment for an ultrasound to see if it fell out and check to see if your pregnant. I've had the paragard in for over 3 years and it hasn't failed me. So I hope you get te answer that your looking for.

I had a paraguard after my baby was born in Oct. 2011. Fell out in Feb, after 2 cycles, was on my way for Ensure procedure and got pg again. When it fell out, I was a mess waiting for af. Got one af and pg after one night of unprotected sex in 30 days.

If your af does not start in a couple of days, re test and see the dr. asap for back up bc until you decided whats next. I had the paraguard removed in 2009 after 5yrs and the month it was removed, I had a chemcial pg.....it mess's with your lining. I was late for 3 days got some faint bfps, then af showed. (we were trying then). good luck!

You hadn't had any luck with those IUDs.. That is terrible

With that said, if you were that far along you should be getting a blazingly positive by now but with that said, since you continued to have unprotected sex after, you could have conceived more recently and aren't far enough along to get a positive yet. I'd retest in a week, if no af. If that is still negative then I would head to the dr too look into possible pregnancy or possible damage.

I'm not sure how the paraguard works, is that the one without hormones? If it had hormones in it then I would say that it could just be the body adjusting to it.
