So I couldn't take the old name slapping me in the face anymore so I broke down and created a new account. Man, if I had advice for anyone, don't pick a user name that is specific to a pregnancy.

Different note: I have taken four .88 cent tests from Walmart. All of them have shown faint positives. I have a lot of worry because of the previous m/c. I called the doctor this morning, they just called back and said they could do a blood test today! Hopefully I'll have high HCG and some of the worry will subside.

How long have you been getting faint positives? They should definitely get darker as the days go.

My first faint positive, dollar tree test, was on the 12th. Then, two on the 13th. I decided to switch to the Walmart kind and got a darker line, but still light on the 14th. That one took over 10 mins. So I tried another on the 15th. Same color but only took 2 1/2 mins to show up. Yesterday, I did another Walmart one... Same result. I hope the blood test will tell me something good! I'm not even due for AF for 3 more days...

I hate to say that this could be an indication of a chemical because HCG should be doubling every 24-48 hours which would make your positive lines darker in just a day or 2.

Hopefully I'm wrong and you get good blood results. Fingers Crossed!!!

My positives have stayed faint, apparently my HCG is fine, I am using $20 tests and I am now 14 weeks , last ultrasound was a week ago and baby was great!

But how often were you testing and how far along? Because there is that "hook" effect and tests will only get darker til a certain point, somewhere before or around 12 weeks the HCG evens out because the placenta takes over.

Tested 8 weeks, 9 weeks, 9.5 weeks, 10 weeks and now 14 weeks and results have all been faint.

With my second child, the pregnancy didn't even show up on an hpt 'till after 8 weeks. I'm just nervous because of my recent m/c. I'm also in the process of convincing myself that indeed I'm pregnant, and that everything is good. Especially since its showing up early.
