I posted this in the AIP vent area, but I guess this isn't really a vent. 75% of my cycles are 28-29 days long, though the occasional 30 or 31 day cycle will toss itself in there. Today is day 35 and nothing so far (though sometimes it starts very late in the evening). When is a for certain definitely-not-stress-or-insanity-causing-a-delay time frame for testing? This shouldn't be possible, btw. DH had a vasectomy 16 months ago and I had mixed feelings about it (not his fault; I wasn't as open as I should've been). So do I go get a test now? Wait If so, how long?

DH said wait a week and then test if there's nothing. I'm sure that's wise. He's wary because of my deal back in April, but that ended up being a 31 day cycle, and that was the longest this year. I have had some that were 33 or 34 days, but that was when my cycles returned after weaning and there was only 2 or 3 months of that. So stick with DH's advice? Or jump the gun? I'm crazy, aren't I?

It really doesn't hurt nothing to test. If I was in your shoes I probably would. Kinda odd that you would be pregnant with DH having the v. But I have heard of it so it is not out of the question.

Just an update. Day 36. No period. Negative test. I guess I'll wait a week and see what happens between now and then.

Sorry. I know I have a plan, but the mystery is bothering me. Of course. I'm horribly impatient. I took a Kroger brand test (the one that was negative). Reviews of said test are welcome. I also don't know what my luteal phase whatever is, so I could be 16-24 dpo. Sooo... anyone know a nice website that has a chart of hCH ranges by dpo? My other two options are way early moenopause (I'm 29), or thyroiditis. My mom has thyroid issues, so that's a possibility. Off to research that now.

Update: Should've listened to DH; it would've saved me $7 or so. AF came this evening. 36 day cycle; longest I may have ever had. I guess stress can really do that to you. I'm glad it wasn't due to some crazy health issue. I though I was doing better before this, but I'm still disappointed.
