Found this site and forum and saw that it was friendly...and I need some friendly advice
My fiance and I decided to try for our first baby together (we each have a daughter from previous relationships) his daughter lives with her mom and my daughter is about to turn 3.
I was on the Mirena and had it removed end of July...had my 2nd proper cycle. We had sex 2 days before I was due to ovulate...but for whatever dumb reason I freaked out and took plan B the next morning, I guess I was just having one of those "can i really do this?" days, emotional girly stuff!
Anyway, I only took one of the pills and the day after I took it was my ovulation day and we had sex and have been ever since.
Is there still a really good chance we could conceive? Or did taking the plan B ruin everything? Internet results are contradicting...some say it will actually increase chances...others say you won't get pregnant.
I know I'm going to have to wait 2 weeks for my period to get an answer, but hearing your thoughts will really help! I'm 100% certain I am ready for this baby...I feel really silly that I freaked out and could have ruined our chances...I know we can try again next cycle, but grr lol
Thank you! I've never noticed when I ovulate, it was just according to fertility friend...I'm having some unusual symptoms but am prob just wishfully thinking or side effects from taking that plan B....fingers crossed! If it happens this cycle it will be a miracle!
