On the 18th my dh and I may have had a woops moment. We have only used the withdrawl method for 12 years and have only gotten pregnant when we intended to. So anyway, he swore that he didn't think much (if any) came out but of course I was immediately freaking out because all four of our children have been the result of DTD just once during fertile time. The next day I had some EWCM too.
Fast forward to today which is CD 23. My last AF was Jan 3, so I expect my next on the 1st or 2nd of February. Just now I had a little bit of brown when I wiped. What could this be? I am 8 months PP. My AF came back at 3 months PP and has been normal/on time since. I read that IB occurs about a week before AF, and I am right at about exactly a week from expecting her and just trying to think of ANY reason that I may have had it. We have not DTD in days so it's not that. I am just trying to be positive because we are not trying at all and I just really want to enjoy my baby for a while. I feel awful saying that though because I know so many would love to be pregnant. I'm just really hoping that it's something else but I have never had an AF show up on CD 23 in the 15 years that I've had an AF. I am a 28 or 29 day cycle girl ALWAYS. Before and after childbirth, it doesn't ever change.

While the timing is right for IB, it really could be just about anything. Any little hormonal fluctuation could cause some spotting, even if you normally don't experience it. If it was IB, you can probably take a test in a couple of days and get an accurate result. At least that way, you can put your mind at ease one way or the other. Good luck!
