I've been lurking for the past week and I know I don't really "fit" on this board. A week ago today I woke up a realized I may have gotten pregnant the night before. My husband and I drank a bottle if wine and we took a few risks! I looked at he calendar and was shocked to see I was exactly on my O day. Then all week I've been cramping, sleeping alot, and convinced I'm pregnant.

I am old!!!! I'm 39 and my oldest is months away from 18!!!! I'm too old to be pregnant! My husband has been wanting 1 more, and I've been leaning towards no. I'm so nervous! When do you think I should test?

If course I would be happy but still scared!

If you're not using OPK's or charting, your "predicted" ovulation date by looking at a calendar may not be accurate. Not all women ovulate on day 14...so it is possible you might have already ovulated, or maybe hadn't ovulated yet.

Also, with your symptoms, it may just be your head playing games. You wouldn't likely get symptoms this early.

Unfortunately you can't test until AF is due...before then you won't get an accurate result.

Good luck and keep us updated!

Thank you! Right now I have a major head game going on, that's for sure. Good thing it's back to work today which is a good distraction!

I gave in and tested, it was clearly negative. I did test 3 to 4 days early. I suppose it would have been too easy if I it was pos. I'm having an internal debate of kids/no more kids. My youngest just turned 3 and it's been fun and also tricky with a challenging career. He was my surprise baby, maybe I'm not meant to have another surprise.

I wish you all the best of luck and hope you all get your surprise soon!
